Hello talented Manga Artists,

I’m looking for Manga Artists to help me make a Shonen/School Life WEBTOON hopefully making it successful and if its a hit we could maybe get our own anime of it. I have a large imagination and I want to show it the world but sadly I can’t draw , But that’s where you come in. I make a script with “ stage directions” and you’ll draw out what I gave you in the script. Also I want to get to know you more if you do decide to join me. I don’t want us to feel like a couple of strangers who were forced to work together on a school project. Before we really get to work let’s have a time where we just talk about life. Please, also provide some information about your experience too, like links to your existing work. Artists are more likely to answer to someone who has writing experience.

Well that’s the thing , you see don’t really have writing experience if you mean by working with other artists. But I’ve studying throughly in story making , detailed script making,character‘s bio and development. But that doesn’t mean I don’t have any writings. I was gonna wait til that person emailed me then I’d show what I am working on 1 on 1. I appreciate hearing someone at a stature like yourself give me criticism and I will be taking it into consideration.

We get a LOT of request threads like these in the forums so there really does need to be more information upfront. Otherwise, other users will become frustrated and it will ultimately lead to nothing.

I am talking about some published works, if you have any Maybe you already published something on Wattpad or Tapas or anywhere else.

If you don't have any experience yet, it would be a great idea to publish a short story as a novel first. Then look for someone to collaborate on making it into a short comic (one shot). And then, having that as an example of your work, ask if someone would like to collaborate on a longer series.
Personally I would never draw even one frame of a story that doesn't have a fully written ending yet, if it was my first time collaborting with a certain person.

(PS. Don't worry that someone will steal your work - it is already published as a novel, so you can always say you were the first one to come up with it - and check the dates of publishing it, if they don't believe you.)

Yes, but I would need to see the story fully written first, to decide.
I'm actually currently looking for a story to illustrate for the Webtoon contest. My usual writer came short this time - we couldn't come up with a decent idea. But I still wanted to try doing it afterall. Although only if the story was worth all the effort.

Aww, thanks. But sorry, I've already started on a really simple idea for the contest, since there isn't enough time anymore. Sorry for writing to you this late.
But if you want to still do a short after the contest, I will tell you what I think when you're done writing. If it's good, I will gladly illustrate it.
