Junji Ito's Uzumaki. It's one of the best really!

May I suggest to you Tomie and Shiver - both are from the same mangaka

Kimetsu no Yaiba just finished :cry_02:
I can happily say that it is one of the best manga I've ever read and I'll probably be going back to read it a third time.

Though I'm sure everyone has already heard of Demon Slayer, so I leave you with a lesser known manga:

"The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You" is the ultimate harem manga. I don't usually read harem manga since I can't stand the contrived build up to an unsatisfying end (I mean, really, we've already chosen our best girl so if the outcome happens to deviate it feels like a massive waste of time). This manga, however, manages to find a way around that. (I really can't say more without spoiling it, just take my word for it.) Also, MC actually has charisma! No wondering how the loser has all the pretty girls falling over themselves to get with him here.

Favorite manga.. oof that's really hard. Well one I'd binge all the time is Devilman and Parasyte, and of course Naruto(tbh I wish I still did shonen jump subs, but I used to get them when I was younger from the gas station/local blockbuster aka rip blockbuster) There is one series I wished I collected was Shaman King and Yugioh qvq

My favorite characters(I will keep to a minimum of 7) Big warning, i'm at most a sucker for main characters rip

  1. Joey from Yugioh
  2. Naruto from Naruto
  3. Horohoro from Shaman King
  4. Akira from Devilman
  5. Migi from Parasyte
  6. Tsuna from Katekyo Hitman REBORN!
  7. Ryoga from Ranma 1/2

My favorite art style... hmmm that varies. I'm more into shounen or anything that includes dark grotesque art themes. I do read shoujo from time to time and see that to being pretty but shounen art style has always been my go to and inspiration

My favorite manga artist. Oof.. I haven't read Berserk but I've watched the anime, Kentaro Miura and Yusuke Murata

As for the last question.. heck its obvious xD I'm a manga fanatic, I have to thank my friends in 5th grade for getting me hooked to the shonen jump magazines or I would've never known about it until probably high school. For some odd reason I have never heavily delved into marvel/dc comics.. I did had a small collection of monster books along with bionicle but it never really interested me more to collect than manga had.

Parasyte is one of my all time favorite next to mob psycho

There is a new manga in WSJ that looks really promising from the first chapter. I recommend checking it out and keeping up weekly for anyone who isn't subbed to their service (they do the first 3 chapters and most recent 3 chapters for free).

Also if you are subbed or thinking about it (it's only like 2 bucks a month), Spy x Family is also a more recent manga that has been phenomenal and I hope it gets an anime someday. :cry_01:

I just checked it out and... oh dear. It is definitely the ultimate harem manga. LOL

My favourite manga is Baki The Grappler and its subsequent iterations.
It's pure violence and combat for the sake of itself and I can't get enough.

OMG Boichi?!!!!! that dude can draw like it's nobodies business. Always wondered how the pro in japan draw now a days =0

What's your favorite manga and why?
Right now, it's probably One Piece or My Hero Academia. The "friendship, effort, victory" Shonen Jump formula is tried and true. Neon Genesis Evangelion has always been an inspiration too, though that started as an anime before it became a manga.

What's your favorite character(s):
Spike Spiegel (Cowboy Bebop), Gendo Ikari (Evangelion), the Androids (DBZ), Luffy and Usopp (One Piece), Asuna (SAO), Taiga (Toradora!), Saitama (One-Punch Man), Bakugo and All Might (My Hero Academia)

What's your favorite art style?
Not sure, It might not be my favorite, but the anime/manga of the '80s and '90s looks substantially different from what's being produced today. It brings back the nostalgia of when anime seemed fascinating and new, before the internet made it mainstream.

Who's your favorite manga artist:
Akira Toriyama, Eiichiro Oda and Kohei Horikoshi are all greats. What I like about them is that their styles go way beyond "big eyes, small mouth." They're not afraid to get comical, grotesque, etc.

Do you even like manga?
I took three years of college Japanese to learn how to read it (as well as play imported video games). As soon as I get a better Kindle, I'm going to find a way to subscribe to Shonen Jump's Japanese comics, if possible.

as comic creators I think we need more of these in webcomics

Pages with real history and information that try to explain thing inside the story (apart from exposition of course) :>
it's one of the things I love in manga and even fantasy manga where they explain some of the magic with real science or history

Manga really has master edutainment

I'll add mine too if you're interested though I'm more into history myself:

Sousei no Taiga or Taiga of genesis mostly prehistoric history and early human behavior/life style
Isekai Yakkyoku or Different World Pharmacy lost of medicine and biology in this one
Sengoku Komachi Kuroutan: Noukou Giga or A Tale of a Small Town hardship in Sengoku Era - An Agriculture Comic (is it obvious it's a LN adaptation?) modern agriculture and japans history mixed into one

What's your favorite manga and why?

Out of all the mangas I've read, Kaguya-sama: Love Is War is the only one that has a lot of unexpected twists. It's like the mangaka knows what the reader thinks and decides to change the story a little bit. Plus I like reading comics that have unexpected elements to them.

What's your favorite character(s)?

I like everyone in my favorite manga, except for those antagonists.

> What's your favorite art style?

There are a lot, actually. But if I were to pick one, I'd go for the art style of Kono Oto Tomare.

Who's your favorite manga artist?

There's quite a lot, but I tend to go for mangakas who improve their art over time.

> Do you even like manga?

Sure I do.

Dude I really love Joey... He was underused imho and I wish he wasn't made into a stupid comic relief in the animu, and it's clear he should've hooked with Mai but nooo argh he got the short end of the stick and I'm still salty about it a decade later. Point is he was awesome and I wish he got more spotlight.

on-topic: I love highly stylistic artstyle in mangas. I like my characters super cute/hot with weird ass cool hairstyles, ridiculous weapons and costumes.

Honestly I agree, the both of them had such good chemistry but ah well. I feel Joey had plenty of spotlight in the anime.. I'm not sure if the manga had made it any different.. since sadly I couldn't find any volumes as most I've come across are in Japanese.
