Would probably do some good to contact someone on staff to get more information or at least ask where exactly they're trying to go with this. Like, I know someone already contacted via Twitter, but also someone here as well?
I dunno -- I just don't think escalating the already irritable emotions is gonna do us any good. Ok -- so they're starting with Premium comics right now. Has anyone asked what the requirements are for those comic? Has anyone asked why they're starting with Premium as a whole?
"It's in the announcements"
"Well, you could follow the existing guidelines---"
Has anyone explicitly asked and got a response?
Like, we have speculations, but again -- we also had speculations when the Google restrictions happened. How did that end up? People were escalating everything pass a 10 until someone had to come and straightening it all out.
I get it -- we're all disappointed that it wasn't opened up to all of the comics as a whole. I would've liked for them to be a bit more transparent on who would be picked first. But let's be honest -- if they did opened it up with the all mature comics, they'd have to sift through works that, quite frankly, won't follow the guidelines.
Do we want them to get swamped with comics and then have to wait days, maybe months, to get a reply back only to be possibly rejected? Or do we want them to sift through things bit by bit, opening it up and having requirements, as we go along?
Do we want to go off speculations or do we want to ask specific questions that they'll have to answer to?
