I have been thinking about this since I started my first draft a few years ago, now I'm really starting to realize it.
My novel is very dialogue-driven. Most of my plot unfolds as characters talk, interact with each other, and notice things, while I only really have paragraphs of narration to describe actions and thoughts and provide small bits of background. But even so, most of my pages are filled up with characters talking, acting, and reacting.
But I have no intention on changing that; I love putting my characters in those kinds of scenarios. (I often envision my story as events in a TV show while I write). But I've recently been wondering if, because of this, would I really want to continue writing it as a novel? I wonder if a better medium for this would be screenplay or a comic, but I find that the most accessible medium for me and my skills is as a novel.
