Monochromatic vs Chromatic in Comics

I’m not so sure if those are the proper terms but… Do you prefer making your comics with colors or grayscale?

I do mine in colour but i could very well do both.
Honestly i like both of them since they have their unique shading techniques.

I make them coloured. I have 2 b&w comics, and even though I don't think I am good at colouring, I believe my b&w comics look worse

Colour is life. Even if it's not wonderful.

In B&W I always feel that something is missing. Also, colour helps to understand some dynamic panels that in B&W may become confusing.

Color; BW requires heavy inking that I don't feel too great at yet, Grayscale constantly feels incomplete without some accent colors and by then I might as well flat and color the whole thing.

Lineless style would be very difficult to make appealing in just greyscale. Probably just gonna save black and white stuff for Inktober!

I like black and white/grey scale but color is nice too =P

I prefer grayscale, b/w, limited palettes and simple colouring for comic. Complex colour comics look cool, but I get tired reading way faster, it's too much info to consume. I can stare at a complex colour illustration or I can read a story, but both together... no :I

Mine is a mix. The most things in my comic is monochrome, just few elements get different colors to make them more interesting or visible. Like blood, fire, magic. :>

I started street magic in full color- might keep it that way to keep it consistent.. but it might be easier to switch to a monochromatic style with accents to save time LWAM has a full color first episode, but is greyscale in the first section. As the comic progresses, I hope to improve the contrast of characters against their background and might even simplify the grayscale colors. It's tricky wanting to include soft shading on greyscale

I prefer greyscale because it is easier and faster to do.

I have tried color and I find it very overwhelming unless if I have a very limited palette.

i used to be learning how to draw manga and sumi-e for quite a long time. So i really like bw and grayscale - when it comes to tradiional media. Now i am making a webtoon on my pc and using color is just a common sense. it cam also hide imperfectins cause people tend to read color better.
