Alright, one of my favorite things to do when I make comics is to eat while working (I know unprofessional right?). My question is what are some of your favorite snacks/drinks to consume while working on your comics.

I either nom on chips or candy while drawing. And I can't work without my tea.

Mostly a lot of coffee, which I may or may not remember to drink depending on how busy I am. Which is why I love having a mug warmer next to my computer >u>;

I love my morning cup of coffee while I work on a page. But outside of morning and my 2:00 caffeine break, I have an unhealthy obsession with pretzels. Gosh I love pretzels.

Ideally I prefer chewing gum and lollipops, anything that leaves my hands free otherwise i'll get distracted.

Pepsi or green tea...

I use to eat sunflower seeds all the time, but I have to watch my blood pressure so I can't eat them anymore. Other then that I've cut out snacking to keep my weight down. yay getting older. =D

I am rarely found without a cup of tea in my hand. Like, it's gotten to the point where I've nearly fallen out of the habit of using the shortcut-buttons on my cintiq because my left hand is always occupied by a tea cup.

I tend to snack on things that are either neat enough to not leave my hands sticky or messy (so, biscuits and toast and walnuts and stuff), or things I can eat with a spoon or fork - last night, I got through some leftover apple pie while working.

But I usually don't snack that much while working. I drink a ton of tea, but tend to stick to taking breaks for my regular meals, and having maybe one snack in the afternoon between lunch and dinner?

For me, I prefer not to eat while using my laptop but I do admit that I do irk myself sometimes by contradicting myself xD While working on Jim's Days, I eat popcorn or chips, maybe even fried rice (if it's dinner time), while drinking either soda, water, Kool Aid (after getting some from my aunt) or beer/whisky (if it's past 9) xD

I hardly snack so I sometimes eat an apple while working on the script, it's a bit messy to eat and draw at the same time :') Sometimes I forget to eat because I'm drawing.

I'm always hungry when I'm working and I usually go to the kitchen to attack the "cookies and cereals closet" and 99% of the times is something drowned in chocolate.
Thanks God I don't get fat because at this point, I would have to roll into the kitchen instead of walking hahaha

I can only manage drinks while working because eating keeps me too occupied to draw.
So I usually get a coffee, coke or our nice tap water...
Sometimes I have phases of high tea consumption. ;D

An ideal working day at the studio, I start off with a cup of coffee, have a meal break in the middle, continue to drink tea (my stomach can't handle too much coffee), and maybe snack on a piece of chocolate I hide in my drawer before I head home :3 Just as @AnnaLandin, I prefer snacks that doesn't make my hands sticky, so dark chocolate or something like that feels ideal.

...o-or the gingerbread cookies someone left at the studio, I've eaten too many of those ;A;

I usually drink a couple cups of tea and eat some sort of fruit that isn't too messy. And occasionally I'll eat nuts and chocolate chips, but never in the summer cuz then it just melts... ; 4 ;

so many coffee and tea drinkers, I feel out of the loop. I prefer cold drinks usually juice or frappes myself. Blowing on my drink seems like too much of a hassle. Usually as far as snacks go I like oreos especially stupid flavors like the last one I had was chocolate strawberries, I often bring stuff like that in my comics. Other than that I pig out on chips or tacos even though those might be the worst things to eat while drawing comics on papers. Interesting responses so far. smile

They are terrible for you, but I love Flaming Hot Cheetos.

I don't like eating while I draw, but I do like my hot drinks. If I have time to draw in the morning or the afternoon my poison of choice is always coffee. Tons of coffee. Most of my drawing I do in the evening and then I like to have a big pot of green tea to accompany me. Mmm, tea...
