We have threads about music being placed in your series. We have threads about music to play while creating. We have threads about picking songs to play in a trailer. We have practice (if we wanted it) in choosing appropriate music. For fun, I am interested in seeing what you would choose as INappropriate music. What tracks do not fit your series in insightful or funny ways?

Now that's a tough one. My first instinct was Wild Thoughts for Existentialist Crisis. But then...I am not sure. For the time being I will stick with it.

For Beautiful Rebellious Brainiacs, the perfect song will be Parachute. But inappropriate one? I will go with Express.

I was stumped on this for a while, but then I realized that for a comic featuring a 99% aromantic and asexual cast, any sufficiently sexy song would do

For my series Crow's Worth, I am going with the "Growing Up" song from the Care Bears.

First, it is an awful song. Second, the two main characters are depressed as hell due to something that happened to them as kids. "Your parents abandoned you and your sister as kids, well that's just part of growing up."

Finally a fun thread!

For my series Soul Ascendance it would have to be Stayin' Alive by Bee Gees because my characters are all dead and in the afterlife.

And another one for my main villain who we meet in chapter one. The song fits but it doesn't all at the same time. It playfully sings about spooky things in the dark but she is far from fun to be around.

I waffled a little when selecting my own. Ultimately, I settled on this classic...

Alien Fiction is irreverent to possibly every theme that Jurassic Park takes seriously. The theme is grand and iconic and hauntingly beautiful where as AF is manic and zany and self-lampooning. I'm also seeing a little of a reversed scenario: the humans are exploiting the monsters in JP, but the monsters (including one lizard) exploit humans in AF. Lastly, the characters learn important lessons from their mistakes in JP, something which will never happen in AF.
