Well, if these 4 panels is the only plot you got, it's kinda... the end, isn't it? =) You can always make a million of mini-comics like this. But it looks nice, if you make even some very simple plot, why not go on with it

Well making a whole comic takes a good amount of times and effort, and the point kelheor made about the plot is true. But if you're willing to give it a go, try it out! I've made and finished comics (nothing over 50 pages though) in the past just by jumping into them like this. It's a bit different from working from a script, but it's do-able if you're willing to take on the challenges.

18 followers in a couple hours is a good sign I'd say! Even though I don't personally know how WebToon works ^^

I think that's because people are generally drawn to a strong beginning. So they subscribed to check the thing out later.
Which is something I suffer from, because my beginning doesn't hook people that way , gotta pay attention to that in the future

Well, you also post on Tapas, while Elixiink posted on Webtoons. Webtoons just has more people to notice the comic overall But yeah, OP has some nice luck ^^

Even assuming that Webtoons is better, does that justifies 100views in so short amount of time? I'm not even talking in the subscribers now, let's assume that @DualDragons is right and a strong begining hook people, how did he got the 100 views in first place? Are you saying that if I post something in webtoons, I will just get 100 views in a fingers snap?

No, that's why I wrote that OP has some luck ^^ or as you said, maybe someone came from discords. Maybe OP hit a very sweet spot of publishing timing, I really have no idea =)
But I'd say publishing on WT is worth trying. At least when we had 40 subs full of friends on Tapas, it still was better on WT. Someone will disagree, of course, but I'm not talking for everyone here

I will publish on webtoons also, actually I already start while ago but I stopped after only a few pages since I'm trying to figure out what is the best approach here.

For instance, I think my weekly updates on tapas are not the best approach. I'm considering changing for a daily update of one page.

Not sure if it makes sense to publish on webtoons with so big delay from here but since the audience is bigger I would like to adopt the best strategy there.

Not gonna lie snow is right. I think my luck was super on the spot here because oh boi-- it reached 26 subscribers and 176 views. I guess the story really has some potential if I put my mind into it! Thankfully its reeking with dark fantasy energy which is exactly my kinda thing. I just wish I was a better writer :///

And just posted it. I was part of few discord servers but they were either dead or TOO active so your links would just get lost after like 5 seconds but I posted my webtoon there anyway.

Can you share the discord servers where you advertised?

I think? The discord groups I'm in aren't comic/art/writing based. But I have some friends there so I just pinged all my friends and legit showed it to everyone I know. Maybe that's how.

Mhm Kelheor has a point. Its really easy to get views in webtoon compared to tapas for some reason. But yes subscribers tend to vary

If you search up on google "public anime discord servers" you'll find some. I post my links there as well. Since its an anime server you're bound to find at least one person who's interested webtoons.

And I started my webtoon plotless too, it was just a joke. In the end I ended up with so many followers. And I see you have 111 followers now, so go for it if you feel like it ^^
