Personally, I think both should exist, but if I have to choose one, then normalised because if I wanted to see discrimination I'd just look around lol.
I just saw the contest results! Thank you for hosting it and congrats to the other winners. I think my favourite entries are @migxmeg's which looks very dynamic and cool, and I like @cookyroach's which reminds me of 90s anime.
If you still want one more input, here's mine. I had a concussion before and I completely blacked out after hitting my head and got carried to the medical room at school (I was told, I completely didn't remember anything after hitting my head) then I gained consciousness after maybe an hour or a c…
how about teens as teens?
I would be wary of using country flags to represent languages and would instead use abbreviations e.g. EN for English. The reasons are: 1) It can be insensitive towards colonialism. 2) A country may have multiple national languages. 3) It can disregard minority and indigenous languages or languag…
Sorry, I already found someone. Just forgot to mark this thread as closed.
Hi, I'm looking for a writer or writer/artist to collaborate with. However, I found that I'm not that great at writing narrative-based stories and I would like to polish both my art and writing skills a bit more before I jump into a personal project I want to do. I'm mainly looking to work on a pr…
I recently made an art instagram! https://www.instagram.com/goldbunny00/ (and a twitter https://twitter.com/goldbunny00)
If anyone wants to check out Comradery, here's their website I don't know much about it and they're quite new but it can be something worth following.
If this wasn't in community picks before, then I recommend this series of cute dog comics. https://tapas.io/series/Hey-Buddy-Comics/
I wish I could write perfectly bad fiction like My Immortal
How does that justify anything
You may have originally put proofreader. I can give you the benefit of the doubt for that but Your original post used the word edited. Some forum regulars can edit titles so they may have seen that and changed it to editor because it seems like that's what you wanted. Regardless, the rate yo…

I'm also wondering about chapter costs. I noticed that My Vampire System costs 8 coins per chapter to unlock and on Tapas the lowest I've seen was around 40 ink for a very short chapter while many are 100+ per chapter. Not sure how they translate into real money. How are the costs decided?
Let me look into my steam library... I usually play indie RPGs on PC. A lot of them don't fit your criteria but these might. - Disco Elysium. There's a lot of reading but the dnd-like game mechanic is really interesting. My current favourite game. - Night in the Woods. Someone else mentioned this b…
All sites collect excessive data though, including google and facebook, and it has been a big topic for a long time. I don't use tik tok so I don't know what data they collect, How much do you think the US just want to ban tik tok because "China bad" rather than genuinely caring about data protect…
I think it's to do with Tapas being more popular for comics so it's easier to find artists to work with. There are plenty of non-animated style covers too especially free to read ones. Don't worry about it.

Community picks submissions closed way before the comic released and if I recall correctly required a minimum of 10 episodes.
Did you accidentally create your series as a comic?
It may depend on the story but I agree with you. In my case, my story is built around those subjects.
I should probably specify that it will be things like abuse, bullying, homophobia occasionally and other stuff but there will be no sexual content nor violence shown that is bloody so I doubt I'll need to use the site's mature filter. It's more for letting readers know what they're getting into.
How do you use content warnings? Would a general warning at the start be enough? For context, I plan to release a comic that revolves around a lot of heavy stuff. The episodes would be rather short so putting one at the beginning of each episode would be overkill.
I haven't used webtoon as a creator yet, but as a reader, Webtoon has the big name webcomics like Tower of God and UnOrdinary, plus a decent thriller section. Otherwise I prefer using Tapas.
My guess is that it got rejected because it's unprofessional rather than "offensive"
Just wondering, how old are you and is English your first language?
Life on the Farm contains a very realistic depiction of life on the farm. [image]
I agree with other posts that 20-40 pages per week plus all the required skills is an extremely unreasonable and uneralistic expectation for an unpaid job, especially if there's only one artist. The artist who's working for free would certainly not be able to work full time, either because they're i…
I don't have it anymore but the first comic that I made digitally that I remember (can't remember if I made one traditionally before but I remember my first digital one) was around when I was 12. I don't have it any more, but I remember it was this random comic about a walnut machine that makes you …
I'm going to say no. Unlike the description, the prologue doesn't read like a list of stuff that will happen. I think it's quite descriptive and immersive actually. There's also the matter that people who read the description are likely deciding if they want to read your story beforehand, which is d…
