My New manga Crypt's Amulets

Hi I'm MisterPloxy, just call me Ploxy if you want, it's cool cool.

Synopsis for the First Arc:
Otto, Ruling self-Proclaimed 'Supreme Usher of Death' of Earth Faces an Old Enemy whom he has never thought of Meeting again, Crypt. With his Friends, Otto will do everything he can to Take down the Man who has chained millions upon millions of Souls into his Own, in order to Free them. But to 'cut the chain' is just way too simple for Otto to finish the deal. Otto later finds out that if he Defeats Crypt/Killing him without releasing the souls, They would instantly perish. Otto will have to figure out how to release these souls without Killing the Godlike Crypt.

About the World:
It's History would be the Same as ours, except it changed because of the Intervention of One Man. Names of Countries Change. Certain Places Change. There are even two Empires that Exist in this world. Arka and Memlight. As both being Empires, and Common Enemies, they influence a large portion of the Globe. Make no mistake though, even if they are Empires, they have isolated themselves to the rest of the World. It is due to the Abundance of the Knowledge of Soul Sorcery , they have to keep it to themselves if they truly want to preserve it.

Memlight, being the more Friendlier Race, Isolate themselves with Full awareness of the world. They are famous for erasing the memories of people who have interacted within their Borders, as well as the Magic of Healing. This is where Otto and his Friends Currently reside, after blowing up a Certain Murican Landmark. The Memlights accept them to be Their Gods because of their Superior demonstration of Soul Magica as well as Protecting them from Murican Justice.

Arka on the other hand have isolated themselves entirely from the World, with no absolute consideration to Openness. They are Isolated so much that the only way people can ever know that they exist are Images from the Satellite. There are Of course people from Arka who have exiled themselves to the World. Each one having a mysterious Mark. 'The Mark of the Chimaera'. Their Identities are Unknown , even the existence of their Sect--Chimaera-- is unknown. Until Otto Happened. Bitches Got Exposed. They Got Exposed Good.

Hey Ploxy,

you posted your shout out only a few hours ago. While this forum is active, it has a small community. So it is normal not to receive answers immediately. Also it helps to ask questions, to make it easier to reply. Once you are here more often, you will notice that you will see that everyone who replies to a post tries to add something to the conversation. You will get very few of what I call 'Filler-comments' (like "Awesome, dude!" or "Great!").

Your comic is pretty well drawn and you have a nice first episode. Keep up with your good work and you will get subscribers for sure.

I just don't understand why you wrote "Read Right to Left- Sorry in Advance :3". As a reader I am thinking "What is he sorry for? The story? The art?". Unless you have a good reason for it, you might consider removing it. It's the first thing I looked at when reading your comic.

Oh hey that's great. That definitely solves people who'd even think of complaining whether this Artwork should be better read left to right.

I have past experience where people have told me that this would've gone better as left to right(Inkblazers). So you can say that i held a little kind of Bias there.

I wonder why. What do you think about the Proper term to call a Material if it's read from right to left. It's okay to call it Comic? or this is one of the things that makes Manga differ from a comic? I'm noob someone help me. And I apologize for apologizing for such past experience.

Hi Ploxy,

I like your concept, it is really interesting and I'm a big fan of your anti-hero -he is very intriguing. Like ratique said, you have some great artwork.

The one thing I would recommend is getting someone to read over your manga for grammar errors, it can be difficult to follow along if you aren't entirely sure what the characters are saying.

Yes, i've been told that i have Proofreading issues. I have recently just contacted my Sidekick to do that for me.

And thank you for expressing this as I may have to re-type everything that's wrong with my characters's Grammar.

Do you know any Avid Readers that i can convince to read my manga? i'm already hunting right now. I just want to know if you know anyone else that's not in my list. And of course i'll be changing the Thought Balloons..? Thought boxes..? ah whatever. I'll be changing those things first for grammar problems before actually convincing them

Traditionally Manga is a comic coming from Japan. But in the last couple years a manga can also be made somewhere in the rest of the world, while having a certain "manga" esthetic.

Your comic certainly has a manga look to it, so I think having it right > left is fine. However, I do agree that on some pages I automatically start reading from left to right. The second panel draws a lot of attention and is much bigger than your fist panel on most pages. You might want to make sure that the reading flow works better on pages you draw in the future.

If you pay attention to the forums, sometimes posts pop up offering to do critiques/reviews. You have to be quick on these though because they come and go pretty fast (there is a high demand). These not only allow you access to more feedback, but if the reviewers post here on Tapastic, they usually bring in a few new followers.

As for myself, I write more lengthy and in-depth reviews than what you normally see here on Tapastic. If you wish, I can add you to my waiting list (it is quite long right now). I have been told that my reviews bring in a nice chunk of new readers as well. However, if you want a review from me, it won't be for a couple of months... or longer.

It is up to you, but you should have more than enough content to give an official review when I finally get around to yours.

Ohohoho well that's fantastic!, It will surely be of help to be in line of one of your reviews. We'll keep in touch, but as you have said, It's indeed better to review something when it's done. Can't judge it right til we've read it right?..we may have to argue the Difference of Reviews and Critiques.. cuz i don't even know if we judge Reviews, then that would become a Critique right?

Reviews are more informative for the readers, letting them know what the comic is about, it could say in passing what the best parts of the comic were, what needs improvement in the reviewers opinion. Reviews can be critiques in my opinion. Critiques focus more on the pros and cons of the comic, looking specifically at the strengths and weaknesses and are directed mainly at the artist themselves. I do a mixture of both. I can't straight up call it a review because I don't really mention much about the plot of the comic, but I also don't go into heavy detail with the critiques either. It is more a happy medium between the two. I also create my reviews for the benefit of both the reader and the artist.

Since I am not sure how to explain it any better than above, I will use a sample. On your page 6, panel 2 is much bigger than panel 1. It is also more interesting and draws my eye to it. Just looking at this page I would think the comic is read from left to right.

Oh that is a very good point there. You see i do that to emphasize major scenery. The bigger the event the bigger the Panel. It would make sense where the eyes are leading here. A solution for this is to make the panel 1 above panel 2 , while making panel 2 move across the page. Very good point. I should do that kind of thing only from the top of the page though, cuz if it'll come across all panels, well freedom to express gets a little dumped.

Good stuff.. Great action. Great intro for the main character, this was my favorite panel...

It's what really got my attention.

I would separate the pages so the reader has a better comic book/manga feel of flipping the pages, but that's just my style..

Keep drawing and keep up the great work..
