The more grounded the art style the better. Preferably characters who are related as well, or characters who are the exact same age but still look very different, because a baby and an old man are easy to differentiate. You can even promote your own characters here.

Every style can be compared to a real person, as every style is drawing approximations of a “real person”, but I assume you mean more semi-realism?
Yeah, like if you can see a real person who look like this character than it counts. Like an anime or most Disney movies.
Most anime and animated Disney content are highly stylized and are often nowhere close to "semi-realism."
I mean like the style of tangled or frozen. Like if you compare that to spongebob or the fairly odd parents you see the difference.
I mean I guess proportionally, the characters are more realistic, but in terms of faces, both of properties' characters are very stylized. Especially Frozen, since the two main characters have pretty much the same face.

Okay, if we can add our own characters here, I surely will I escaped same face syndrome by having exactly two faces to choose from Just kidding, I think they are quite recognizable even when some elements are similar between some of them c: at least considering my style is quite simple girls:guys:
Other webcomics that I know that have characters with very different faces, are for example Absolve the Sun and Errant
Here's 3 close in age from the comic that have varied looks. There's others with extremelly square and circular headshapes but they either wips or in action poses, will probably update here whenever i do clearer renders of them.
