I love drawing flowers so I think I'll start with this violet
Strangely only lately I introduced flowers in my nature drawings, kindda silly if you think about it, before it was mostly grass and leaves.
wooh! nature rocks!
I usually include a lot of nature in my backgrounds. In fact I spend too much time drawing those backgrounds.
This is the only landscape drawing I have but I am planning to make more
Trees are pretty fun to scribble. They can be lots of shapes.
Nature (especially animals) is one of my favourite subjects to draw.
Here's a half-colored sketch of a chipmunk stuffing its face with a peanut.
Mountains practice c:
I love this. It's so cute
@lizardlullabye
These are so aesthetic and fun
I love to draw backgrounds they take for ever though ^^' This one here is one of my favourites so far
they really do take forever, and I'm no good at it rn lol tbh, this is pretty though. it makes me think of comics from when I was a kid
I like drawing environments (of all kinds), to me it's the entire point of drawing a comic. Here are some panels with landscapes ^^
I mean, this has to count for something Also yes, backgrounds really do take forever, so now I 1) do them in more of a painterly style and 2) try to premake as many of them as possible (I know this comes off as lazy, but if I want to get this story out next year, I need to do this because life.)Here’s one of the backgrounds I made:I used to paint a lot more when I was younger, and these paintings were mostly landscapes. Then I realized I sucked at it and stopped painting, and now I’m actually realizing I don’t even suck that much, so might as well start painting again lol
Loving your art style
I almost forgot about some of my really old Nature arts, in particular, the Sam Studios Nature Series. These were drawn in the late 80's and early 90's. All were done in pencil. Some were done during high school classes:
Hey @Leyelle it's been a while. I just needed a break from the forums. I'm back for a bit. How are you doing?
I love nature art! I have tons of them!
This is awesome it will take me some time to reach this level
I'm doing okay. Not stellar, not awful. I hope you're doing well. this art is stunning! I love it. What is that horned animal-thing called in the last slide? Or is that a grassy ledge with an unusual horn like rock fixture?
That's a giant "gloomhog". Just a giant pig / boar creature. It's like that in the world because of all the change in biodiversity after all the nionuclear warfaare.
Aw I hope you do really well in 2025! New year, new goals! At least that's what I'm hoping for.
Same. Hopefully the year will go well for everyone
