Hi all,
I'm a new author (sort of) here. Since Inktober is going on, I decided to revive my OCs from two years ago, and draw some panels for them. On a whim, I decided to compile them into a webcomic format and uploaded them to Tapas and Webtoon.
On Webtoon, I chose the Romance/Comedy genres because I thought it would fit well but I find it hard to do so in Tapas. So I ended up choosing the slice-of-life genre for my comic on Tapas.
Can anyone help me with this? I want to know if anyone had a comic that was a Rom/com and what solution they came up with when uploading to Tapas.
Thank you so much for your help!
PS: If you want to have a look at the comic: https://tapas.io/series/wINK11
Sincerely,
Yoa

While slice of life isn't a bad fit for your comic, I think it would fit even better in the comedy genre tag.

The fact that you can't select two genres for non-premium series on Tapas is a bit frustrating, but what I would personally do is slap on the comedy genre tag and then tag it as romance and romcom in the 'Tags' section of the settings of your comic and make it clear in the description that it's a romcom. That way you can kind of get the best of both worlds!

Thank you! That really helps. I'll go make the changes right now.
It is a bit frustrating tho with selecting only one genre. But I do find the tags feature is useful.

Ohh, i love your idea! i think it's a super cute thing to do with your oc's

About the genre, i think that comedy, or slice of life and romance work well together, i reccomend to keep 2 out of these 3 (just a very tiny advice though: i think romance would work the best, not only because it's fitting but also because Romance is the most browsed webcomic genre usually, from what i saw :pensive:)

Thank you. I'll consider the genres again before i update them. Romance definitely is one of the most read genres/
