Hey @JoaquinAguirre thanks for the thread. I find your writing easy to visualize, and I like that the main character has a bit of sass. I prefer characters who can appreciate sarcasm. :+1:

@kinleypavone I'm so glad you started posting on Tapas  Your comic is a :star2: The characters are so relatable and the content translates well to some big issues we are dealing with now.

@cherrystark That museum space sounds amazing! Also, love the Jumanji reference. Your writing is easy to follow and to the point. I'm curious what will happen with Jamie.

@KingKazon Ok, that first story was pretty creepy! The way it was written made me want to speed read it, like a friend was telling me a story about what happened to them. I also like that they are short stories. It reminded me of when I would read Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.

Here's my novel. I'll come back here after I've read more stories on this thread.

Here's mine: Moons is a comic about magic, friendship and acceptance!
I hope you'll like it!

I'm honoured that read and enjoyed my horror tales! I'm really glad that my stories also gave you that feel, lets me know I did something right. If you're interested in seeing more creepy horror tales that I will post in the future, you should sub so you can stay updated for new releases.

I read the first 11 pages of your comic (it's all I had time for tonight), but I have to say I am totally in love with your color pallets and the way you blended it all together. You did well on mentioning the amount of time and prepwork that goes into spellcasting (as a witch I appreciate its), and Viola is absolutely adorable. I'll be checking your comic out again when I have some more time, but it's a great read.

@vishakasriram I love Azra. This is such a unique concept, especially in the romance genre, and I eagerly await the next chapters and can't wait to see how her relationship with Devin develops.

@sevenstarsofeightIam I read the first few chapters of The Faerie Dusters, I love where it's going so far. It makes me feel nostalgic, if that makes sense! It reminds me of the stories people would share at pre-Covid fantasy conventions.

@WinterFall Thank you so much for your kind words! Also I was able to go in and fix that typo. Good catch!

@TadxSarah I'm really enjoying your comic, Cheat Master. Just read the first three episodes and already adore you artwork. The storyline is quite interesting too, with them given a second chance. I look forward to reading more soon!

@HopefulAttempt Just read the first episode of your novel, When Souls Awaken. I fell in love with your heartfelt and description writing style right away. I recommend to anyone who enjoys dark fantasy. The whole time I was reading the first episode, I was just mentally screaming in my mind, how can he do this?? How can somebody be so cruel? You really got me hooked, and just with that first episode! I'll definitely be back to read more soon. Might not be a super fast reader, but I'll be checking it out when I've got spare time to read.

@cyborgmermaid I checked out your first two published episodes of Stargazer and enjoyed your story a lot! I'm so excited to read more soon. You really have a knack for descriptive action scenes. You brought the chaos to life with just mere words, and made it so easy to picture everything perfectly.

Hello! I've been on tapas for a short time and have just started uploading a novel along side my comic. I have looked through the thread and there are a lot of projects that look really good. I will be back to put them in my library and read them  I look forward to enjoying so many awesome stories.

I am also not very good at the links here on Tapas so please forgive the very neanderthal type of linking lol

I responded to each of mine individually, but I want to consolidate into one with a few others that are honorable mentions and people I want to support:

@vishakasriram was the first that I read, and she does very strongly on both her setting and premise. Her story starts off from the perspective of a child soldier that has still managed to hold onto her heart, a premise that I find fascinating in the face of dehumanization of soldiers in most media.

@maiishira04's comic is about the colors of love, and it is absolutely adorable. I was disappointed that the second scene wouldn't load for me when I was looking it over but I intend on taking a look at it again. If I can remember my webtoons info I'll subscribe on there, but I'm very hopeful that this will help motivate her to build an audience here on tapas.

@midluuna's comic is adorable in a different way, but it's also pretty hilarious so far. A witch's spell goes wrong, and she finds herself with a companion she didn't bargain for. The art style is cute but very well made, and er color choices are just splendid! I'm planning to give this one another look but it will likely be a subscribe.

Honorable mentions:

@cherrystark is a user I'm subscribed to whose story has a wonderful premise. I haven't gotten very far in it due to time constraints but her museum gives me heavy SCP vibes which not a bad thing at all. Her wording is very heavily on-point, and her sentence flow makes her novel extremely easy to get engulfed into. OVerall, a very excellent novel series.

@HopefulAttempt is a user I'm biased towards because we're good friends, but I've been around to witness her growth as a author and to say she's fulfilling her potential is putting it mildly. There's a reason so many of her viewers are active readers who engage in her work, and she does an incredible job of creating realistic characters with mixed moralities. When Souls Awaken is an amazing story and I can't recommend it enough.

@Gramkrackerhan's slice of life comic is funny and relatable, and can be enjoyed in small spurts or as a binge-read. She does an excellent job of sticking true to pocket-sized stories and is one my favorite comics to keep up with.

@HippieGhost – OMG. thank you so much for your kind words. I can't tell you how much it means that you read through and thought so deeply about the concept and story!!

@cyborgmermaid – Thank you so much. I’m so happy you found the concept unique and I am excited to share more with you!!

I will be updating every day for a few more days, then relegate to once a week. The next episode is up, in case you wish to read it:)

Hello there! I did say I'd check out on your work, so here I am! So far, I've read the first three chapters, and I've also left likes. Anyway, moving on to my feedback. I was really hooked in while reading, and it's also really... relatable. I think it reflects the life of Beck so openly, and that's a great thing! It's also crystal clear that she really doesn't like school, and well, that's the part I relate to the most. Anyways, it's great! I'll be reading more soon!

Hello! This is my current series.

Here's mine

Sure I'll read some of the comics in here and leave some feedback. Here's my and tell me what you think of it.

This thread is an amazing promotional thread. Thank you for creating this thread. All of us need support and I'll be coming back once I read three series that are posted here. :sparkling_heart:
Here's my webcomic that I just updated a new episode today.

Hi, so I'm back! I've read three comics posted here. They're all enjoyable reads and have intriguing premises!

@midluuna Moons is a beautiful comic, easy to read, interesting characters and has a beautiful colored palette. The art style is beautiful and it fits the story very well. I really like the title design for Moons. It's a great comic overall! Well done!
@sirynsueng Jade Gardé is a professional-looking comic in terms of story and art style. The colors are beautiful and the art style is top-level. The character designs are impressive. The action scenes are well-executed. Great comic from a writer and an artist duo!
@maiishira04 Colors of Love is a cute comic that has a theme of love. It's unique and the art style is simple and attractive fits the comic very well, colors are a main theme and it's visually captivating, and an intriguing concept. Great comic from a talented artist!

:scream: I just checked your series, what a just beautiful artstyle! Immediately subscribed. I'll look up the others in this thread, this is too good.

Here's my new comic series. I upload at least once a week:

@naheravieri Thank you so much for subscribing and for your kind words :sparkling_heart: I appreciate it a lot.
I've checked out your comic: A Tale of Two Shadows and I've read both episodes.
I subscribed! The story's description is intriguing and engaging.
The book cover is beautiful, and I really like the title.
The art style and coloring choice matches the tone of your story.
The story line is gripping and that made me want to read more episodes of your comic. Keep up the great work!

Thank you! :sparkling_heart: It means a lot to hear that feedback! I read the first episode of That Beautiful Melody and I was immediately hooked by the clean art style. Also your OC is beautiful! I'll check out the next episodes and Waiting Under the Stars one by one in the evening today, they both seem like great series!

@sirynsueng I read your comic and I have to say, the style is awesome. You got my attention! I'm waiting for more :sparkling_heart: It must take you ages to make your lineart look so clean, and the coloring is just wow. The story itself got me hooked within the first panels, you got a strong start there!
