Need OCs for a crowd scene! (Closed for now)

Hey everyone!

My webcomic is Radio Silence, a coming-of-age story about a British rock band's rise to fame. Currently they're in the middle of a concert scene and I'm running out of steam creating random characters to fill out the crowds!

As you can see it's not particularly glamorous with the lighting and all that, but I'd appreciate some volunteers nonetheless! The only requirements are that they have to be human (this takes place in a real world setting) and have to be your character (or yourself if you don't mind sharing a pic but please assure me it's actually you, I'd hate to draw someone who was unaware of being volunteered)!

I can't guarantee I'd fit everyone but I have a few more pages of group scenes coming up and would greatly appreciate some crowd inspiration! (:

My comic, Atonement, is set far into the future ... so it might not be the best resource for you. Still, I'll offer up the likeness of one of our (so far) unexplored characters, because I do feel like she'd get down on this concert if she had a time machine.

Or, if you wanted somethin' a little more out there, you could always go full Barbarian! Grok smash. But, he also wears real clothes too, and isn't married to that axe.

Lol, oh god, I can empathize with that too well. If it helps you can use Apollo, he'd probably fit in with the concert scene than any of my other character, though I don't have a whole lot of resources outside of my comic.


He's supposed to be a strawberry blonde, with freckles, and he's also got ocular albinism so his eyes are sort of a purple-red (I kind of get carried away with my shading...). 6" or about 182cm, has a little muscle definition. -inserts more mary-sue bologna-
He's more of a skinny jeans and tanks/loose shirts type of guy, but if you use him feel free to dress him in whatever. Good luck with your crowd search!

Also sorry if I sound anal, I don't have a problem with how people draw my character really, it just OCD so it usually helps me to know the details when I draw stuff. Soo yeah, sorry if this post comes off more obnoxious than helpful. <_<

I just followed your comic because there's nothing I love more than band stories : D

I've been doing a ton of research on different ways people choose to depict the sound of music in comics, and I think your's might be the first rock band comic where I've seen sheet music actually on the page. (I mean I've seen guitar chords in Scott Pilgrim, but that's maybe the closest I can think of in the rock band genre.) (Classical music stories are different because people don't have to write their own)

My brother has a bachelor's in musical composition (jazz) so I challenged him to collaborate with me on rock music. It's off genre for him but I'm sure he enjoys the challenge! I really wanted to integrate the sheet music because he's spent the time composing everything. I haven't entirely settled on how to display everything - I mean I'm rolling with what I have now but who knows what I'll pick down the road to demonstrate songs and singing!
