New creator introducing myself

Hi everyone. I am Deanna and at the beginning of this year, as a New Year's resolution I decided to create a webcomic. It is a long form fantasy adventure called Obscurato. After hearing so much about Tapastic I decided to also host it here. I have heard great things about this community and thought I would introduce myself and maybe make some connections.

I work as an illustrator by day, so I make my comic in my time after work.

Obscurato takes place in a world where magic only exists in fairy tales. A group of adventurers are about to discover just how magic left the world, and will have to decide if they will bring it back. Their decision will change the course history. Set in a medieval inspired fantasy world, Obscurato is filled with battles big and small, magical creatures, and mysteries galore.

Cool new years resolution. Tapastic is pretty chill compared to say...deviantArt (but that's a can of worms I'm not opening if you get what I mean). You've picked a good time to join up. The community here is very friendly (it's a rare and wonderful corner of the internet), and there are a lot of super talented folks who've been here for a while -- and others, like yourself, who've joined more recently. I'm liking your comic so far (this newest page in particular!) I'm very interested in the mythology that you're just starting to craft. A good mythology will hook me, every time.

If you're interested in a totally different sort of genre mashup, I'd love you to check out mine too. It's my first webcomic, so I'm always looking for feedback from other creators with different styles and perspectives. : ) Warning: it's a gritty space opera, and it's only about as far along as yours: Atonement.

I work primarily in vector and I do medical illustrations. I also do a bit of animation, again medical related. Flash and Illustrator are my primary tools at work.
