First I will talk to you a bit about D&D for those who do not know what it is.
D&D is a tabletop role-playing game, the first in many ways. In which under a series of rules established on the basis of a system that uses a dice of twenty faces (d20) with which the results of any action imaginable by players are determined, taking into account characteristics of their characters as Strenght, Intelligence or the training they have in some skill.
This is very important in the story I write because for that factor randomness is present and I do not really know if the characters are going to survive I had to create a game character for each of the characters in the story following those rules.
The second thing is that having to handle various data, launch virtual and real dice and have the need to note any change in the life of the characters or uses of their skills (which are limited) my screen looks something like this:
And that there the notes are practically empty (The music is to illustrate what I tend to hear). I write in Spanish and then combine my knowledge with some websites to make the best translation possible (Since Google does not understand XD). By the way for those lovers of video games and their calculations there are sections that explain in detail the capabilities of the characters in the game, which can be skipped if you like. All in order to be as faithful as possible to the RPG genre.
In addition, I'm doing a project that I like to call "Special Interactions with Readers", then, to the book have 20 main characters divided into four teams in different parts of the world that I created is an opportunity to use the ability to leave comments of the different pages and give the reader the opportunity to decide which will be the focus of the following chapters (Although each team will have their adventure arches published) but the order will be chosen by vote.
Thanks for reading, I hope to know how you do to write your stories and if my ideas seem good.
