So, how do you want to self-publish? Do you want to do ebooks? Serial novels? There is a lot of different things to consider. If you've already put your novel up as a serial/websnovel, then it likely will stay that way. Unless, you re-edit it and work with a formatter to turn it into an ebook. Plus, the audience for webnovels is different than ebooks. So, it depends on what direction you want to start. And genre. Your audience you're aiming for is also a factor.
Seriously, I do have a book on this, and I've been self-publishing since 2009. I started in children's fiction and have added romance. So, if you have questions for self-publishing, it's likely where you are right now. If you're self-published with a webnovel on Tapas, it's a start. I have two webnovels that I've done now, but I also have other writing projects self-published wide as ebooks. So, it often depends on the writing project and the audience you're trying to reach that determines how to self-publish the manuscript.
Feel free to add more questions. Just FYI: retired teacher too. Educating in my blood.
