Hello! I haven't really introduced myself or my work on here either so it's nice to meet other people.
1) What are you drawing/writing (comics/novels)? What is the genre, the plot?! I'd like to check out your works! (I'm a fan of all genres, really).
I have two comics up on Tapas. My main comic, City of Cards, is a paranormal cyberpunkish story about people living their lives with a larger plotline that's slowly unfolding. Also has sweet queer romance in it as well and is very grounded and character driven.
I also do Parallel Lines with another writer/artist. It's our chill project that doesn't have a set update schedule, but it's about queer young adults in the early 2000s dealing with ghosts and life issues. We both write and draw it together so the art switches between the two of us.
2) What is your favorite work on Tapas (that is not yours)? And why?
I need to read more, but I started reading Sideways and it seems really smart and an interesting take on parallel universes and I'm into that:
Full Spectrum Therapy is a comic my friend does so I'm biased but it's also just brilliant queer scifi that also takes place in Reno (same as my comic) so yeah, just good stuff:
Easy (warning mature content) has some of the best writing I've run across and it's so nice to read well done stories about adults:
3) What is your favorite Genre?
I write and love scifi, particularly cyberpunk/dystopian scifi but only if it's not gritty edgy stuff, I like my scifi grounded in characters and society. I also love, love horror and ghosts.
4) And lastly: Cats or dogs?
I'm a cat person.
