Never tried sketch up, but if it helps with doing backgrounds I really do need that!

Is free. Is a 3D program with various styles of 'sketches' (it turns the 3D model into a sketch version).

hi! i write spire! its about vampires who go on an adventure to find a way to be human again

i recommend tracing over your sketchup models, it'll give you a start to figuring out backgrounds!

Thanks, I do plan to move from sketch up to drawing them. I used it to test it out and speed up a bit my release. But after chapter 4 I plan to do them myself or at least work to do them xP Man your comic is amazing! Love how you do the eyes!

Sketchup is great. I remember using years ago. I am neither an artist not an architect, but I did create a very town map for an RPG book in Sketchup. My plan was to release the map file with the ebook edition so the gamers could view their town from any angle. The project went nowhere, but the software is fun and fast to use with a learning curve that is not too steep like say Photoshop. I could see an architect using Sketchup to make a quick first draft model before using pro software for precise and detailed blueprints.

I read strangers, you want people to cry? xP Such a sad ending, but I like that you use a subject that many ignore (suicide). Now if you excuse me, I need to dry my eyes cause of onions...yeah onions.

@BreeBree I read it, I am read the description, but the story in the comic is a bit hard to follow. Try to compact it a bit might help. Also in term of drawing for humans try to not make the elbows so sharp, maybe a bit of a curve. Keep it at it!

@missieanthony I see this is a return, glad you are back since some of your early comic were rather funny. I am not sure the thumbnail banner included here is the best. It looks like a city giving a different idea of what it might be. Maybe used some of the art from your actual comic or something.
