Hello, everyone!
I started on Nov 2 with my novel: Of BONES and BLOOMS
It follows Ophelia, who is simply a 'mushroom druid, (plant-magic!) that is contracted with the local mob as a 'cleaner'. She's hired to 'hide' any secrets (skeletons, usually by decomposing the body) and growing some sort of plants around them to hide the evidence.
Her city is stacked, one layer atop the other, so only the top layer sees sunlight. As I am sure you can presume, that's bound to create a few problems.
Ophelia gets dragged into all the Upper-Crust scandals, with her only allies being the siblings of her most prolific client, a couple lower-level gang members, and her contractor, (who I like to refer to as the FairyMobMother).
It's is a slow-burn, morally-grey, political intrigue, Gothic romance, fantasy, mystery.
