Hi there,
I'm having serious problems with my wacom Cintiq 13hd , a few days ago my computer suddenly stopped working and I had no choice but restore the computer to its factory settings. That was made by a professional.

The problem comes when I try to install my Wacom, the software works , the pen&touch function works fine, but nothing is displayed on the screen but a "no input signal". Basically I have a nice wacom bamboo that costed 1000$ . I don't know how to fix this, I tried many things:

-uninstall wacom and restart the computer
-restart the computer
-check that everything is plugged
-install new drivers (uninstalling the previous one)
-Calling wacom support...with no answer

I don't know what can be wrong, because before my computer stopped working my wacom worked perfectly, and I've been very careful with the plugins and I don't think htey can be damaged...
What can I do?

For this, the most likely troubleshooting route is to think of the wacom as a second monitor rather than a tablet and google based on that. Check your display properties to make sure that Windows knows it should be outputting to a second screen.

Err, what I mean for you to get out of that link is:

Please make sure both the [wacom] and the monitor are connected and press Win+P (hold windows button, press "p"), then chose duplicate or extend.

Also check in your Windows display properties.

Have you tried checking the cintiq against other computers?

It could also be as simple, that the HDMI input (inside the computer) might've gone bonkers.
(I had to do that when I first bought my cintiq 13HD, but I run it with a mac. And apple... Likes to simplify things... So there's no HMDI input without having to get a cable for it).
Just to be sure it's not the cintiq itself that stopped working.

To me it sounds like you've done every step one could ask for, so it do sound a little like the computer not being able to sense the input.

Btw, have you tried emailing them?
They usually respond within a day or so.

(((I also managed to get the cables all wrong, like getting the 3-cord installed in the cintiq and not the other way round, double check it perhaps, to be on the safe side? Or, it could just be that there's a glitch somewhere and needs some extra care!)))

I'm willing to bet that you might need a new 3 in 1 wire for it, although I am just guessing since it sounds like it worked fine for you before but that thing is a very sensitive wire in my opinion.

I tried and the Cintiq doesn't work in any other computer, so it has to go back. I'm going to return it to the store tomorrow morning.
Meanwhile, I tried to use my old wacom Intuos to have some work done...and neither it worked.

Summary: Both my wacom and my computer are broken, it's easier and faster to get a new wacom than purchasing a new 3 in 1 plugin (which may not work). Jeez, I've been an adult for less than 6 months and I'll already have debts cry

I guess return it. Wacom sucks, what can you do? Haha...

1 month later

hi ! I know the topic is a bit old but I am having similar problems with my cintiq 13hd
Did you send it back or did you find a way to fix the problem ? I am curious.

I am having a lot of problems and wacom didn't give me any good solutions and of course I need to work !

Still broken UPdate: So the new thunderbolt 2 cord didn't fix it either. Im sad... problem came back. restarted a million times. I done, it's just gargage, the imac

FIXED! UPDATE Upgraded Adapter Cord. THUNDERBOLT 2!

Everything under this is old. So I am 4 days in, and the wacom tablet has been working properly since I bought the HDMI to Thunderbolt 2 converter. Turns out, I was using the wrong Thunderbolt all a long! 4 days strong. So if your cintiq is glitching it could be that! I forgot to mention, It worked perfectly for both my PCs so I was able to single out that the IMAC was the issue and not the Wacom itself.

Note: The screen didn't not turn on during 2 startups, but as quickly fixed with a simple restart. Normally I'd have to do the whole unplugging replugging driver updated downgrade dance 5 or 6 times. Hopefully it stays this way. I'll keep you posted if anything changes.

Ive been struggling all day. Iv'e the problem where my hd13 glitches. FIRST that was fixed by an awesome adaptor found here! https://www.etsy.com/listing/530082285/wacom-cintiq-cable-support-adapter?utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=PageTools&utm_campaign=Share454

Secondly, if you are getting the "no input signal", I fixed this by, going to the WACOM DESKTOP CENTER and RESET SETTINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!! FUCKEN WACOM GET YOUR DRIVER RIGHt! UPDATES ARE SUPPOSE TO FIX THINGS NOT BREAK THEM FUUUUAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! ANyway... thats after a whole day of frustration and head banging. Just had to get that out there. Hope it helps you. Take care

Oh Kay!!! PROBLEM IS BACK! WHAT A BItCH!

UPDATE March 26 18
FIXED!

Temporary FIX
Okay so the problem came back, and I was able to get it to turn on by, Powering off EVERYTHING. Unplug the CPU. Plugged the CPU on with all of the Wacom components unplugged. WHILE POWER IS ON I plugged wacom stuff in. And it worked. Such a huge hassle, but it seemed to work.

ThunderBolt 2 Plug Fix
So the last solution is such a huge hastle, Icheck the thunderbolt port to hdmi cable adapter, and it may have been Thunderbolt 1 while my CPU takes TB2. I bought an "official" thunderbolt 2 cord as it's described on Amazon, and it WORKS! Just had to restart it once. Hopefully it doesnt fuck up on me again, otherwise, nothing is fixed, just a bunch random chance that this piece o shit 2015 27" imac(could have just went with the pc with twice the performance) wants to work. We'll se what happens next ! This is what I got.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DRK2ZIK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
