Okay, here we go.
General caution
Your comic is good, I like the Idea and creativity behind it. However, just as you rightly noted, it can bring much offense to a lot of people because things like this can be easily misinterpreted.
That being said, please, try not to over do your comic, if that makes sense. Due to the 'importance' people may hold to the bible, and the contents within, the humor/comedy and the audience intended by your book will end up being minimal/minute.
So, I implore you to thread cautiously as you draw your comic. At this point, I think its safe to say that your comic is walking the fine line of either your book being funny as intended, or being ridiculed and frowned upon by the public.
Also, please, be aware of this. Writers are influencers. We are able to conjure up stories which can either inspire, shape, and even manipulate the very lense in which the society sees things. That being said, as a writer, you are thereby put under the general public. Not because you are not important, but because you are like a shepherd to his/her flock. You guide and protect your flock.
In this case, you are following the will/interest of the public because they are the individuals who can either make or break you. As we all know, this is very much evident in the current world around us today.
Critic & Observation
1) Your story has a lot of dark humor to it. Which is rare in most biblical related comics. Its funny, but some of them can contradict the very fabric/nature of your story.
For example; when the angel and the human shared an intimate moment together.
My Explanation; Now, there is nothing wrong with two characters sharing an intimate moment together. However, since your book is biblically based. It is more prone to being wrong. Let me give you an example.
Now, when the angels in the bible had intimate relations with humans, God kicked them out of Heaven. The offspring of the two was what you will call a Nephilim; a human/angel hybrid.
I'm only pointing this out because your book really has alot of potential in it. There is really no competition for you, so take advantage of it.
I'm writing a similar story to your comic. So, you're not alone. My book is called 'The Creator's Bloodline'. It is a mix of a lot of things, but make no mistake. It falls under the same category as your book. They both have biblical characters present in them. Feel free to check it out some day.
Your art
Your pictures/drawings are good. However, as a comic. There is ALWAYS room for improvement. Be it in the details, the outline, and more.
That's all I have on your comic.
Goodluck,
