First of all, no shade to anime artists! There are so many amazing anime artists on here who I am so impressed with, and I follow lots of them. But anime isn't my main thing, and my own comic isn't anime. It's been hard for me to find readers on here, and I feel a little out of place. So, I'm making this post for artists with other styles to share their work and support each other! So post a few pictures of your comic, share some info about it, drop a link, and let's do it!

I don't want this to be a strict sub-for-sub thread, but think of it as a "generous sub" thread. Don't post your own comic unless you are planning to subscribe to at least one other comic. Be open to checking out comics that are outside of your main interests, and hit that subscribe button if you appreciate the work another artist is doing, even if it's not your usual vibe! We're all just looking to grow our reader base and our community. ! <3

On that note, here's my comic! It's a fantasy coming of age story about an isolated lighthouse keeper's daughter who lives on an island once populated by dragons but now overrun by giant flies.

Oh dang I love that cover! I really like your style experiment so far haha

This is so beautiful! I love your colors. If this is your style in the rough, I can't wait to see it polished! I subscribed right away!

Hello! I also always see a lot of manga style comics on the front page of Tapas, but I particularly love comics that have really unique looks.

My comic is drawn/painted traditionally! Which is know is a bit rare these days... It's a horror/slice of life comic about a high-school guy called Andrew who has narcolepsy. I'll just post a link and like one page I guess? It's all greyscale and watercolour.

IN THE WOODS SOMEWHERE9

This page hasn't appeared in comic yet, but I like it and there's no spoilers...

Wow, I love this! A traditional media comic was always my dream but I am just sooooooo slow. I'm also really impressed with your black and white art! Subscribed

Thank you so much! I waited until I had a really big backlog before starting to post, haha.

I love the concept for your comic and the art is so colourful and exciting!

haha, we've got the whole color spectrum covered between the two of us!

According to my friends, the verdict's out one whether the MC technically has anime eyes or not, but here's The Alchemist's Chronicle:

Good thread idea. I'm pretty much on the same boat with anime: I can appreciate the artstyle and some art is really admirable, but not my cup of tea as a reader.
Your style is much more like what I like, and I'm intrigued by the first episode so I subscribed.

Here is mine. I'm rather beginner, so not everything is in place for sure, but I want to stay in this kind of art later on (just, more polished hopefully).

More cartoony than anime

Eyyyyyyyyy. I've found my people.

My series is very not anime looking.

I admit my stuff is anime inspired, but it is cartoon style and is mostly based on the Looney Toons.

Here are my comics. Not sure if it's anime but my art is a cartoon/anime hybrid.

Chion and Kobi: Slice-of-life about a boy and his guinea pig
Lisanne's Magic: An experimental webcomic that chronicles the life of a little elf girl

Lucky for me I use a more toon like style for my comics, here's and example of what I create:

My comic is a supernatural comedy series
