3/24/2020: CLOSED FOR NOW.
Thank you to everyone for inviting me to critique your work! I will be taking a break now to focus on catching up on my Tapas reading, but I may reopen this in the future once I get through my personal backlog
Hi everyone! I'm trying to get into this Tapas scene, and I thought a good way would be to offer critiques for Novelists. I've found a few stories, but I don't want to leave feedback for those who aren't really seeking it. I saw there was an older thread, but it didn't look like it was updated recently so I thought I'd start one of my own.
A couple of things:
I will start by offering a critique on one of your chapters (episodes), but if you don't use it/get mad about it, I won't give any more. I want to help, not hurt anyone, but if you don't know how to receive critique then I'm not going to waste time when someone else who is waiting probably does. If you seem more open / responsive, I'll probably keep going as long as I enjoy the story itself.
One episode and story per person at a time. Once I finish your critique, you're welcome to request another one.
That being said, you can ask me to critique a certain chapter (episode). I don't necessarily need to know everything about a story to be able to offer valuable feedback.
Let me know if you have any specific questions so I can address them!
I don't want to be hassled or guilted for likes/subs. If I like something I like it, if I want to read more I subscribe. Pretty simple. Please don't try to guilt me into doing either.
I'm not asking you for feedback, comments, likes, subs, critique, etc in return. However, it would be nice if you at least took a look at my work. I mean, how else will you know if my feedback is worth your time?
PS: Novels only. You don't want me to critique your comic, I have literally no idea where to even start with that kind of thing.
Alright, lets get to it
