Ongoing Action & Adventure Comic Creator/Lover? Come on in!

So I started a topic not too long ago for Creators with a Small Fan base, and I found some really and truly AMAZING gems hidden away in the vast sea of Tapastic Comics. Being a big fan of Shounen Manga and Marvel comics, I remember looking forward to reading the latest releases every Tuesday and Wednesday for the latest chapters in my favorite series. I notice a lot of the Popular and Trending comics are more BL Romance based, but there is so much more out there to read.

I would love to find some more great Action & Adventure comics to sub too, and would love for us Action/Adventure comic creators to kinda get to know each other, read each other's works, network, and hopefully subscribe to one another, so we could have our own Streamlined version of our favorite picks in one thread!

Wild Cards is my own creation and has influences from Avatar, Naruto, One Piece, DBZ in terms of feel, pacing, and action. It's also a comic for all ages, so if you have kids, they can partake as well!

Let's see some of the works you guys have, I'd love to read them!

My comic, CIty of Blank, takes big influence from shonen manga that I grew up with. While I hope it's not blatantly obvious what the inspirations are, a lot of aspects of it did derive from my love of series like One Piece and FullMetal Alchemist

Wild Cards looks awesome! I can definitely see the shonen influence in it, especially from series like Naruto and DBZ (I mean that in the best way). Best of luck!

My comic Goblins of Razard is Fantasy/Action. It's fun adventure with the characters rarely getting a moment to rest.

Our comic VSEPR is much more of a modern Action/Adventure/Superhero. Its about a regular guy just trying to save his job, by sneaking out at night and playing super hero. It's a ton of fun and has a good dose of humor in it. I was very inspired by modern science-themed action comics like Antman, Batman and Scooby-Doo (don't judge, hah!).

@60Six - I remember reading City of Blank as one of the first comics here. Your work is really great. The main idea of the story already hooks you in.

@sarrowsmith10 - Liking the start so far. Can't wait to see him Superhero it up. I've lost a keycard or two in my day....

Both of your works and art skills are clean and phenomenal. I feel humbled just being in the presence of you guys. @60Six looks like I have another comic to add to my morning commute!

Hey @TrialAndError Dude, you start the best topics! Thanks for this. I've been digging Wild Cards since seeing it on the "Small fan base" topic. Keep up the great work.

@60Six - I'm extremely impressed with City of Blank. Very professional looking, fantastic art, and well written. I'm excited to catch up on the series and learn more about the "blanks". Excellent concept.

@sarrowsmith10 - I love both of your series. Very professional layouts, art, and writing. Goblins of Razard is wonderful (My high-school mascot was the "Golden Goblins", so, I'm partial to those wicked little dudes). I think Rodin is my favorite character so far. I'm super interested in VSEPR because of the "science hero" concept (Science rocks!). Both series have exquisite line work, and the colors in Goblins is amazing.

My comic Symphorians is a tiny baby adventure comic compared to the work from all three of you, but if you get a chance then please check it out.

Hey @TrialAndError it's nice to see some enthusiasm with action comics on Tapastic. I read recently that this site doesn't do too well with action comics, and as you noticed yourself on the popular/trending parts of the main page, what seems to gain popularity here are the gag and BL stuff (I counted 7 popular/trending BL comics featured on my last look).

My comic HOTWAB follows the Marvel/DC superhero tradition, except it's set in Europe. It's perhaps the opposite of where @sarrowsmith10's comic is going, I took a lot from the Teen Titans in that people live a kind of 'superhero lifestyle' and their normal and hero identities merge, to the point where it's a non-issue. I was really trying to move away from traditional comic book tropes about why people become superheroes and give the genre new angles for motivation, thought I'm jumping in with the action first and expanding on those things later.

Hey there, I'm not sure if you've checked out Heroes for Ghosts or not but it might be something you'd dig. It's a science fiction/ superhero style comic that follows the adventures of a super powered special forces crew during an intergalactic war. Check it out and I'll take a look at "Wild Cards" and all these other cool comics as well!

@Symphorians Your comic is amazing. It is a bit wordy in places, but the art is quite stellar! We wrote VSEPR off of some of our own experiences in the lab and our crazy day dreams about fighting crime. I'm so glad you like Goblins of Razard, that is really our brain child. Terri and I have worked on it for years..

@shaneoid77 Terri and I sort of based VSEPR off our own lab and our experiences there. Minus the crime fighting part of course. It is a bit silly, but our fellow lab mates contributed a lot of ideas as we were making it. They were kind enough to support our kickstarter too. haha.

So, maybe someone is interested in my japanese-style swordfight action manga Blood Stained Snow. I'm not sure, if it fits here, because it's a little brutal from time to time (the topic is war, so don't expect power of love stuff ^^).

@Symphorians Dang, thank you! I'm super happy to hear that! Symphonians is absolutely gorgeous. I especially love the animals. I feel like a ton of comics that focus on humans normally slack in their animal anatomy but that's definitely not the case in Symphonians. It's pretty refreshing to see ahaha

Wow the level of talent here for Action/Adventure comics in here is amazing. I feel really humbled yet proud of all the amazing works in this forum. I wish there was a platform where you guys could sell your works to major retailers. Pretty much everyone here is deserving of publication.

My comic is highly influenced by shonen manga especially bleach which is my favorite manga and anime(too bad it has ended though ) but I hope my comic can even be better than it one day though
