It's under the fantasy category but it is also very modern/action, as it is more of a super hero-like story that involves demons, the police and all that jazz. DC comics have played a big role as inspiration in its creation, perhaps not in style but definitely in the plot. This thread is amazing, I'm really excited to check out all these amazing comics!

Welcome Back is kinda an weird fantasy/adventure type story mixed with psychological horror and surreal dystopian dreamworlds. I'd say the action and adventure is kinda slow now, but it does get to high points later on.

My comic @XXIII is a fantasy/action involving a cambion who pretty much tries to find out her true meaning in life as well as protecting this guy who is in the verge of dying.
Some of the fight scenes can get brutal because the main character gives no diddlies when it comes to fighting someone she despises. But along with fights, there's a lot of social interactions/conflict which shape the character's choices and goals.

My comic Aetherwar is a bit of a fantasy adventure comic. I'm afraid the buildup is slow though and the action hasn't really taken place yet. But I promise it'll come and when it does it'll pour.

My series Ray Thunder is about a boy who is not only a demi-god, but the illegitimate son of Thor. I'm halfway through the 1st chapter, which is the beginning of the main storyarc that puts Ray on his path toward his fate/destiny.

My series Neon Rabbit is a superhero action/comedy type comic, it follows a Canadian girl that gets superpowers after a mysterious explosion and her quirky roommate, there are monsters, mutants and nerdy references galore.

I'm new, and I've been working on and off on my comic Heartland. The action bits are still a little bit aways, but there are going to be lots of it. It's influenced by the Stalker games, among other post-apocalypse games, books, and movies. If you like some post-apocalypse style stuff, I think you would like it.

i always really liked action comics too. i made one called Robo Hole. its a scifi comedy action about a grumpy girl who has to save her suburb from being attacked by robots with the help of a mysterious boy who fell from the sky in her backyard. it has super powers and space and jokes so if anyone likes that stuff maybe you'd like my comic too! i'll be lookin thru a lot of these comics either way

So, I'm already subscribed to Kamikaze, so I should probably second that reccomendation. Though I am way behind on reading it, as I am usually all comics. And I've started following Heartland, as anything based on Stalker is relevant to my interests.

I'm quite partial to Silver Wolf, which follows someone who put on a suit of armour to survive a zombie outbreak in a medeival setting, and how they're managing to survive, and eventually meeting a friend who had a similar idea.

If we're going for not on this website, let me tell you how much I love KILL SIX BILLION DEMONS. They've made a world which I feel is impossible to not get sucked into, an aggregate heaven of all religious belief, decayed. The pure depth and detail are what make me love it. (And I like the art.)

Finally, I have to reccomend my own POST HOC, which is a post-apocalyptic fantasy set in the early modern period, rather than modern day.It's taken heavy influences from manga like Blame! and Berserk, though not at all in the art style, which is certainly a work in progress and way behind much of what others here have produced.

Wow, I'm finding so many great comics here! Thank you for starting this thread!

My comic is called BOLT ACTION, it's about a band of misfits and con artists screwing each other over in a subterranean Steampunkish world. I tried to just make a pure action/adventure comic, with a lot of fast planes, quick draws, and smooth talkers. Please check it out, I just started (only about 4 pages in) but I have around 60 pages ready to go!
