My main characters are children:

The left is Sa'ad, the right is Asra, and the middle is Mukhtar.

they remind me of Christmas elves. is that intentional in their designs?

Now that you mention it, they look like Christmas elves but no. Their clothes are made for hot arid deserts, and the coloring of their clothes dictates which clan/faction/nation they're from. Like the Games of thrones series where each kingdom wear different colors.

In my next series, the main character Kimberly is only 15.

This is Yi-Yi the Tyrant, the spoiled, mischevious child ruler of the Astoreth Empire. He is not an entirely an original character; he is based on a real life child I met and hated but who I refuse to name to protect his identity. A sort of Christopher Robin Milne type situation, if you will.

I'm not giving context for this image.
but yeah, Larry (the human) is 8-9 years old, Spring (the fox) is 11 years old.

Since my comic is set in high school, there are plenty of protagonists who are minors, including, but not limited to:

Erica, a 16-year-old

Pierre, a 15-year-old

This does NOT include either Haru nor Tsukasa, who are 18-years-old

I haven’t introduced him into the story yet, and I haven’t even drawn him yet, but there’s a fifteen-year-old human(?) named Hunter coming soon to Defining Daecon…

He’s… something. Nobody is quite sure what yet. He possesses some magical abilities is all they know for now, such as the ability to see though shapeshifter cloaking charms (including the one that keeps their colony hidden from humans)

Since the main character is one, there gotta be a handful of characters that follow (like classmates and friends)

He is technically a minor too

But if we are talking about unreliable adults, or those who acts like children, we have many.

Both of these girls are teens, but the younger one is like 14, so she's a child while the older (taller) on is 18
