I think both styles are beautiful, But why would you choose the one you like the least? you're not twisting anything because you're going from one already "beautiful" style to another "beautiful" one.
I think you should choose the one you like best, also because it will be more pleasing for you to draw, and your fans will appreciate it.

It's not that changing art styles is bad, art styles are tools to communicate tone and stories. Changing your style can alienate an audience who liked the previous version. But if you don't like the style then change it. If you can, redo previous pages. if not, don't. Expect some pushback, but keep going. You will find your audience.

Oh wow both styles are actually really pretty!!! Honestly if I were reading the comic, I wouldn't have a problem with this... it doesn't seem like that much of a drastic shift to make people question anything. Speaking from experience I mean.

I recently changed artstyles for mine, although I chose to incorporate it into the storyline as an attempt to let people ease into the change a little more (one of my favorite comments is "You deYASSIFIED him!"). The artstyle is a little more mature as well, symbolizing that the main character is growing-up (Naota is becoming uncomfortable in his skin).
