Ooh, math, no math, math bad. But YES african americans and afro-hispanics represent!

I have a few for this story.

Kid Rocket is my MC, a young sidekick to one of the world's most prolific superheroes. He's a kid with a heart of gold, if not a bit naive, and when Darkstar - the greatest hero in his city and second in the world dies - he's made to claim the mantle.

Darkstar and Kid Rocket are both African American.

Catspaw is Afro-Indigenous, with her mother being half-Navajo African American, and her father being African American. Once a villian, Catspaw has turned her life around after growing entangled with Darkstar romantically and serves as something of a guide and teacher for Kid Rocket in the wake of his demise.
