Oh wait, do you mean actually scheduled? I schedule in the morning for a release later in the day, but I have the entirety of my novel finished. I just like going over one more time in detail before scheduling it for upload

Got about a month worth scheduled (4 episodes) but my actual backlog is about 4 months worth of updates

I mean whatever you have prepared to post! I personally worded it as if they were scheduled because thats what I do with my comic updates, but whatever you consider to be 'backlog' is fine! I know for novels it's different, I just think of it as something completed and ready to post

I always have a big backlog. Whenever I post novels, I complete them before I start posting. With my comic, even though I'm not finished, I still have a backlog for weeks to come.

One problem I'm having is that, because my backlog feels so distant, I don't have much momentum when making new comic pages. There's some excitement, but it's different and harder to access.

I don’t start posting unless I can guarantee the almost daily frequency beginning to end.

But I will delete a work if it doesn’t generate interest after two weeks and go do something else, so basically, when I start the story it will be 12 parts ready to go and scheduled, and the story itself is at least half way finished.

So I'm right now in the middle of 1 chapter (I mean what is posted already) and I have it done up to 4th chapter with 2 extras, so yeah i don't have to worry much about having nothing to post for wwhole next year

shifts around nervously I wish I had a backlog, but I'm guilty of procrastinating on my comic and waiting until the last minute. I'm hoping once I get through this first arc, I'll start creating a backlog.

At the moment only one Chapter with a teaser of the next volume. There were 60 chapters listed which dropped one a day. I would edit for grammar and spelling the night before a schedule ("fresh" eyes) and sometimes, because I'm working on a second volume of the series, go in and make small changes or additions.

I've done the same thing with everything I've put up. The story is complete before I post.

So i took a hiatus, like i kinda quit comics around march (but i didn't make any comics this year), so i didn't do anything until this month, i have made like 3 pages, so maybe i'll wait until i have more backlog to publish.

I felt like I had to finish the graphic novel before I released anything, because now I'm working on the second one hopefully I can create more posts before my first book wraps on releasing.

If we talk about really finished pages I usually have one or two to post right away. But at the same time I often have like 5 to 10 almost ready ones, I'm to lazy to finish :'D

Got three pages scheduled as of now and a fourth one in the works (I just need to add balloons to it and then I'll be adding it to my schedule as well). I like to have at least three/four weeks worth of updates scheduled 'cos I know from experience that my job can get wild and that computers can randomly die just when you need them the most (...which is exactly what happened during this first half of October if I hadn't anything scheduled, my comic would have pretty much died after page 4).

I post a page a week so it's not so bad. That and I work on chapters as a whole so I yoyo between having very little ready and having like months of updates ready all of sudden.

I had a backlog that was 2.5-3 weeks worth of updates... But between graduate school and research, it got eaten up pretty swiftly lol

Now I'm on a semi-hiatus / slower update schedule until the end of the chapter.
