I can relate to this! I get the same with art and singing; people I know IRL who are untrained are mesmerised by what I can do, especially when I sing. Whereas I know when I'm around industry professionals in either field, they'd be able to point out a lot that needs improvement. I do not trust my friends to give me feedback on my art or my singing. I trust my partner for art, since he's got a good eye for my mistakes.
There's no real way around it that I've found, other than to stay humble and don't let it go to your head. Always assume there's someone out there better than you, and keep striving to learn more. Take pride in what you can do while acknowledging all that you've yet to learn.
It takes a lot of personal conviction to do that, and to recognise when you're letting arrogance creep in, but it's certainly possible. I've met a lot of pros who are very sure of their abilities, but who are absolutely lovely, and also aware that, skilled as they are, there are certain things they're weaker at, and that's okay.
