Hello everyone, recently got into writing - I'm a junior author just looking for some feedback on my novel, since I'm not sure how appealing it is to audiences! As the author who knows where everything is meant to be, I can't really be sure if it feels the same to everyone.
Please let me know either on here or in the comments of my novel, I'll appreciate any kind of feedback no matter how critical!

Everything we do is done with a goal in mind.
People stick to rules to avoid punishment.
People work for fear of starving.
People grit their teeth and argue with all their might when they think they're right.
And when in the clutches of death, which no living being can escape, everyone searches for a God.
I hate my world so much, a world where everyone's fighting because either they all think they're saving it or they're searching for their God.
I don't want to be the "eye of the storm". I just want to survive.
Is that too much to ask…?
