According to my point of view, I like the real-world parallel to the magical world which is connected due to a small leak between the two worlds which never came in contact with each other...

But, yes I also like a hidden magical world inside the real world unknown by many, yet known by some...

I should've also add mythical creatures in both 1 and 2.

I think Errant is around a 4? It's a little tricky because a lot of the time Errant follows relatively hard magic rules and has a fairly mundane world, but I'd put the power level higher than The Witcher or Harry Potter even though the magic tends to have clearer physical laws about what it can do because Rekki just picked up and chucked a car at a house-sized demon and that's pretty wild.

Like you can't magically fix your broken glasses with magic in Errant, and you can't turn a person into a frog (conservation of mass), stop time or teleport, but you can heal wounds, shoot magical death rays, leap twenty feet into the air or talk to ghosts.

Think Devoured World is a 4 or maybe even a 5, the world is sorta mundane except for how everything has magical power flowing through it, so odd- magical things often happen to the landscape or creatures there, and Then theres' this realm called the Abyss, the whole place and the "Abyssals" that exist there are very much Otherworldly.

I would claim my story is a 7 if you count it although there is a lot of sci-fi involved. But all in all it's a cluster of confusing ideas, gods and magic.

My world is a mixture of both 1 and 2. There is so much of the world that I haven't explained in my current novel but probably be addressed in another novel or if I want to do another series within that world.

I don't think mine is applicable to this poll. Closest is 3 but the thing is, mine is very culturally based but there are no mythical creatures or anything like that. I call it modern fantasy since I basically just made a fantasy world that is similar to ours in a lot of ways but also different culturally and socially. I guess there's also a power system but I don't necessarily count that as mythical but if you mean that, then yeah, 3.

Splitting Image is absolutely a 6. Even though the world at large (not Aeolia in the comic) has access to Earth technology, there are tons of non-human and human-with-magic cultures and things don't quite work as intended because of Fae magic, but it all still follows logic even when warped, so it's far from 7.

Somewhere between 4 and 5, tho the magic could be considered low magic i don’t think it would be considered a soft magic system. There is non human races and because of this societies and buildings change based on biological differences.

The world is more based on reality in the sense of i want it to be relatable and make sense rather for everything to be wibbily wabbaly dream magic (I personally hate that). It’s very based on simple cause an effect, if your surrounded by water, your contry will prob have better water based tech then the contry surrounded by Mountans and cliffs.

But obviously the magic can have an effect on this as well

I really like writing in that little space between urban fantasy and high fantasy. I think both a 1:1 copy of earth but with Some Magic added as well as hardcore high fantasy are kinda boring (for different reasons, urban fantasy tends to be too realistic and grimy for me, and I'm also not a fan of the feudal/medieval style vibes of high fantasy. I think in general I just dislike settings that look disgusting and grimy.). My comic Spire takes place in a post-tech-invention fantasy world and it's been a ton of fun figuring out how that kind of world would transition.

Mine is 1 or 2.

Although earth is "real" there are magic creatures and other worlds involved.

My comic Ring Spell is a 1, just has some fantasy elements thrown in It could teeter over towards 2 more later.

I tend to write stories that are level 2.

However, level 9 sounds like a challenge.
