To be honest I'm not sure. When I think about my story more than one song comes to mind so I'll post these two..

For my WDE comic this is the best fit for the comic

For my Deadhunter comic the closest I could find is the opening for an anime

Mr Roboto by Styx is certainly a classic but a little too obvious for a story about a robot which wanders around shooting people and monsters. I choose this remix instead:

Ironically, I use only instrumental music in the mood music function on the actual book, so no version of Mr Roboto appears there. Now, I am rethinking that because of some tracks I found while researching for this thread.

I came back and found songs that fit my main projects.

For Momma's Boy. I choose "Hero of the Day" by Metallica, specifically the S&M live version because it will ALWAYS be the best performance of the song..Lyrically, it perfectly fits the themes of the comic. Themes about fighting for what's right, losing yourself along the way, and because of the line "Mama, they try and break me.." ugghhhh

For Star Pilot Kira, I choose "Planet A" by The Devil Wears Prada. It focuses on a fictional story of this young lady who became an astronaut, and in the middle of their space flight, stuff goes wrong forcing the woman to land on an unknown planet. It's not exactly the same to my plot of a little girl wanting to become a pilot, but it's fairly close thematically. It could happen in the story way in the future lol if you wanna give it a listen, it's screamy metal so... just a warning

I love listening to music when working! This is the song I use to get myself pumped up and in the headspace for writing Kamikaze ->

I love the beat, and I can easily picture our main character dashing around to this music! Kamikaze is a dustbowl cyberpunk comic so Glitch Mob is a really good fit for it. If you're into cyberpunk action and slowburn storytelling with richly developed diverse characters give it a shot!

absolute madman matt bellamy seems to be making his new album monster themed and every song will probably be perfect for spire

but i really like the mix of electronic sounds with the organic ones, its something i see a soundtrack for the comic doing since the aesthetic is a high fantasy world that just went through a huge technological boom

Lets see for me and this is the song I was listening to while I was writing the chapters to my novel: ^_^

It has Begun - Starset

So that song really reflects the Novel especially during Chapter 4 when the war is officially announced and things are changing in the world.

I have yet to find a song that is pure edge.

But I think this song from Les Friction is very fitting for my comic.

The lyrics tie very well into the plot and the overall atmosphere later in the story.

I have a couple super mega 2005 emo pops which I will not share just to spare you all

Though I have this super mega 2011 emo rock I will share because low key I love this song and I listen to this ALL THE TIME while I do pages. I mean it does kinda suit it.
