But today was not that day. Today, the sea was slick with dirt, the air carried soot and ash, and the only place he would welcome people to was their watery grave.

It's from one of many random paragraphs I wrote that I will eventually put together and write some kind of short story/character study.

Twelve hours to go, then. He didn't expect Fort Airde to last much longer than that.

More like two last sentences...

“Ladies and lads,” the king shouted, his voice blaring about the room. It bounced off the walls, and Evangeline could feel a small shiver run down her spine.

“I urge you to listen to me – this alpha lives a fair distance away – it is not just a quick brisk walk!”

The water was falling plenty on his head; plenty and hot.

He snuggled his back against the door and groaned as he pulled his knees up to his chin to balance on.

This is an excerpt from my upcoming novel :grinning:

“Well, don’t come back crying in my arms if things don’t go well for you. Because I’ll kill her a second time.”

The Last thing that I wrote. Man I love things out of context.

“Indeed … shit.”

“Haven’t seen you around, what’s your name?” big boobies asked.

And, at the end of the day, he’d grab a beer and sit in front of his laptop, searching the web for a way to save himself from his own family.

Summary
