I drew an armor design.
Aww, thank you! I need to do more experimenting to find a method that is both sustainable (AKA doesn't take me an hour per effect), and that looks right/good enough, but I think I'm getting there.
Back on more of my establishing the scene nonsense...
After months of not drawing, I finally did a thing:
Rough base sketch of some armor I'm designing for a character of mine. Been working on it for almost 3 years; trying to achieve an "otherworldly" look to it. Just remembered a resource to look at, so I think I'll look at that over the weekend and see what I can insightfully gain from it.
So, I didn't get very far on my comic before I was sold on the close-up of my boi in the 2nd panel (￣З￣) and ofc I jumped right over to rendering it solo~
