I've been working on a model sheet for Flare and I like how it looks, but something feels a bit off about his proportions in regards to his arms and boots. Can anyone else give me some feedback on what could possibly be wrong?
The arms just need to be a little bit shorter, have the wrists up by his hips and the rest of his hand just below that.
Thanks of the feedback. I'll see what I can do on that. Might also make the boots either a bit bulkier, or the arms a bit less bulky. Because that seems to be adding to the weird top-heaviness of it it seems.
His upper legs are a little short , maybe lengthen them a tiny bit also?
That could also work as well. Again, thanks for all the feedback, It really helps.

Yeah, @dragonsparking is right. I’ve learned that the fingertips of hands end at the bottom of the crotch. It’s a weird reference, but that’s what I was told to be vigilant of when drawing proportions. Other than those things that were mentioned, it looks great!
Thanks. Didn't know that about the finger tips. Will definitely try to be more mindful about that now.
More monster designs for fun. I tried to based it of a mole and it gradually went off the rails from there.
I’m drawing up the reference page for my main character. It’s going good so far. I’ve got to make a few adjustments, like the length of his left arm, but other than that, I’m happy with how this is turning out.
Happy Pride Month everyone. ╰(´︶`)╯
How long is it since I post anything here.
This made me laugh. Love the expression.
Just finished this print of a new character of mine.
This will publish later today.
Simple drawing. Is it safe to be a series cover, though? I see nothing explicit or gory from it (it's just flowers and cartoon blood, plus many horror covers have blood in it), but just to make sure.

I like experimenting with textures and effects, I think it came out nicely.
