Thanks! I'm actually really proud of how he turned out color-wise. Got the idea of him late last night when I was trying to come up with an entry for your contest.
(What was the Dragon King Like in your comic, by the way? Actually took the name Ryu-Oh from early versions of DRAGOONS when their Megazord was called the "Ryu-Oh" actually.)
Ah yeah he was like a training antagonist for the DoppelRip Chamber. He was the one Chamber had to defeat to learn how to open the chambers in his Dragon Heart. (Back when it was full on Battle Shonen. Chamber was the precursor to Tatsu.)
But the Dragon King himself had a horde of Dragons and was the ruler of the Lost Continent that woke up from his slumber when Chamber went there for training.
Ah, that's really neat, actually.
(Amusingly enough, I now have a group of people called the Dragon Kings in Drachenseele as the main macguffins for the first arc, coincidentally. And yes, they all combine into a giant robot in the end probably...)
I just animated my two cats, Queenie and Jinx for my comic. gonna be fun creating stories with them.
Today I've mainly been drawing character/costume refs of my protagonist Gen. He is not happy that I am drawing him from all angles it seems. Haha!
