For some reason this week I've been feeling compelled to draw a VW bus. I don't know why. I've never owned one, never really wanted one, and have only ever driven one that I had done a bunch of work to for a customer (and that driving experience wasn't exactly thrilling, unless you consider how dangerously slow they are as "thrilling"). Still, for some reason this week I had a desire to draw one. And so I did.
Not finished yet (only rough colours done) but I wanted to draw it in a cartoony exaggerated racy wheelie-pulling style similar to what would have been in the old Cartoons magazines.
