Saw someone online saying that a good test for character Design is to draw them wearing a suit, to prove that the character is appealing rather than their outfit.
The fun part was coming up with the types of suits that everyone would wear, and how they would react to it

Emerald's is a more casual one, but they neither this or that sort of thing. OK, it might be a little bit of a stereotypical outfit for a lesbian, but you know, that is what it is. Fun to have her hair in a ponytail for the first time

Lolly's was very straightforward, considering that she's a reaper that uses guns, so it basically makes her look like a hitman. And honestly, it was interesting to draw her in it, because I hardly ever draw her not wearing a skirt or dress, she's not the type of person to like wearing pants.

Isham's is simultaneously more casual and also more old-fashioned than Emerald's, and of course she likes it with a bit of euphoric undertones because she is closeted non-binary.

Esen-Ali is over 9000 years old, so she predates the invention of suits anyways, so I put her into some of the earliest fashion trends of suits from the 1700s. Also the first time I've ever drawn her with her legs exposed like that, they're usually covered up by her robes.

Kno is the only one here wearing the most traditional looking of the suits (other than her wearing a fancier scarf than usual) I decided that she would think that suits are far too restrictive than what she usually wears, so she's incredibly uncomfortable, but trying (and failing) to hide it.
