All art made with good intents is good, and I'm out here to prove it! Making art is hard, and making webcomics is harder, so it's easy to fall into the trap of just thinking that your own art is crap. Critique threads are definitely useful, but what's even the point if you never see the good in your art? And I'm not gonna just 'comfort you with lies' or whatever -- genuinely, all art has strong points that I'm completely confident I'll be able to point out, no matter how bad you yourself thinks it is.

If your art shows a person, please make sure they've got a full shirt and pants on. I'm ace, and it makes me super uncomfortable seeing anyone (either genders) half or more naked, even if it is super stylized, and I really don't wanna get in a situation where I'm not just able to scroll through super fast. This is literally my One And Only Rule, so I WILL NOT reply UNTIL YOU CHANGE THE PICTURE.

So post your latest! (though not just your literal entire link to your comic, that'd be super hard) I might not be able to answer right away; it'll most likely take hours or even a day or two for me to get to ya (especially since I go to sleep super early and am busy in the morning/afternoon of almost all weekdays), but I Sure Will.

My latest is this redraw of a piece from September 2020 (going to add the old version too for comparison)!

There's still a lot of things for me to learn but as I only picked art up as a hobby around last year because of the pandemic lockdown, I'm still happy with what I've learned so far (:

Holy crap! The details are what are striking me the most! Every single little part of their clothing is completely drawn out with texture within the lining that makes me feel like if I were to reach into the photo I'd know just how each part of the clothes felt. From the drips coating the long arms to the end of the high judge's neck clothing, the details are amazing!

I LOVE the expressions in yours. I don't know the character, but I can already tell a little bit of their personality from the panels I'm seeing them in. You make each panel clear to see what action or emotion is going on, an extremely important point in comics!

The shading is what sticks out to me the most! With the light streaming through the bus windows, the soft light coating the edges of everything it's facing looks super satisfying! I also love the way it brings the saturated tones of the colors! Like, the color scheme is beautifully soft, but the pops of color bring out the shading even more!

Oh, and I actually have to get up super early so I'm headed to bed rn, but I'll get back here tomorrow, in case someone wants to post theirs until then!

Updated today, It's good because it's whole (almost) page featuring John

this happy holidays card i made for the holiday season that i really got the old faded card look down to a T with!! from how the colours have faded to the, illegible gold leafed text

OOO! Can I just elaborate on how much I like the way you draw eyes? The shading from top to bottom giving it that lovely lovely shiny look, and especially how you could look at the eyes and eyebrows alone and know the mood/expression of the entire character, every time!
