DeviantArt1

and my YouTube1 where I make speed paint videos, I currently have over 1k subs. O3O'

My comic is The Woken1, and here are its bits:

Twitter2: Where I post updates, some inks and drawings sometimes, share updates from my favourite comic peeps and express political and religious opinions you disagree with.

Tumblr1: Okay, so I don't 'identify' as anything, I'm not an otherkin, I don't have any kinks, and I don't speak in weird anime jargon, but Tumblr is still a nice platform with lots of perks and is highly customisable, so it's where I host my comic FOR FREE in full page and full page spread format.

Patreon3: Alright, now we're talking. This is where I make the big bucks! And all I offer in return is a thank you message I wrote so long ago I forgot what is says. Oh, yeah, there's also high res pages for big spenders.

Instagram: Oh and I also started this thing, which I think is really cool and has a lot of potential, and plan to focus on it more in 2016.

Here are mine for West:

Twitter:2 - Personal account where I post alerts for updates and generally talk rubbish. I'm active on there if anyone wants to chat.
Tumblr - Mirror
Facebook - Mirror/fanart/other art
Patreon4 - Which I'm a bit sheepish about throwing out there, but you have to start somewhere, right?
Tapastic: - Main site, I'm on here every day.
West Extras - Behind the scenes artwork, doodles, a tutorial and other world-building info

Give a shot. My manga/comic is Subject Code Aion2

BLOG : My only site I never shared with my family or my love one. My public diary I guess?
TWITTER I post Updates and random staffs ^_^
PATREON3 I have no idea how to use it but gonna give my best shot to make money
INSTAGRAM I just started just weeks ago. but I love taking pictures specially my good moments of my life

I really like looking at the way other people set up their pages too, so I'm linking mine as well in case they'll be useful to anyone smiley

Also trying to get back into Tumblr and Facebook, but I don't really enjoy posting there...

Tumblr - My webcomic's tumblr blog! Posts updates, artwork of my comic's characters and wips.
Twitter - My twitter. Posts updates and random crap about my life.
Patreon2 - My patreon! Has barely any backers though :c
Redbubble - My store! Not a whole lot in it right now, but I'm hoping to change that.

I have a few different places where I post things
tower25comix.com is my own website. There's extra info here with links to reviews and interviews. I also do early updates here
@wabisabi1977 on twitter is where I post comic update announcements, network with other artists, this is also where Tower25 started which led to me getting signed by a publisher.
Here on Instagram I post sketchbook drawings, my own art, and other things I make by hand. I just launched it and there is some of my comic stuff there but also there is a lot of other neat stuff
On Webtoons2- Im doing my best to get exposure on all fronts for Tower25 before it gets released in print in a few months. If you like the work please rate it .

On Tapastic If you read my work please subscribe and spread the word

So please follow, vote, subscribe etc. Thank you all

Ehm ...
I'm not a genius in that things, actually I'm a newbie as u want say so.
But I'm trying some things out – here they are:

• Your story for the people
That's an important thing, I guess. Why you're drawing comics?
At the first place (and really at the first place) you draw comics
because you love to tell the crazy stories in your head in a cool
visual way. U draw for you – for your pleasure.

At the same time it is your pleasure to tell these stories other people.
It's awesome to have an idea and to see how your stories become
visible to you but it's also awesome to show them to others and see
their smiles. (Or to get their digital feedbacks.)

So bring your stories into places where people are.

• Places where people are
In digital way they're community sites. 'Community' is the word for a lot of people at one place.
+ with a common interest. That's important: common interest. Or many common interests.

So the task is:
- What am I producing? (art/sequential art/ illustrations)
- What are the community sites with a topic that fits in that what I'm
producing? (art/comic communities)

So we have Deviantart | Artstation | DrawCrowd | CGSociety | Tapastic | etc.

But maybe there are other community sites with a generally topic like Social Life.
Maybe there are people outsite who don't brows in specific art community sites
but also loves art and comics ... they're just not so hard into it. – but like it, when
they see some stuff of this kind.

In that case we have Facebook | Twitter | Tumblr | Instagram | Pinterest | ello | etc.

• What am I doing?
When you start, nobody will know u at the beginning.
You have to show yourself (and your work ofc).

I want to show my works so many people (with the interest that fits my work) as possible.
I go to the greatest places where people are, register me into these communities and
participating in it. That means:

I search a lot of social media and art community sites, make an account and post my shit.

With time it emerges whether I like these sites or it don't fits to me.

• Play by the rules

A thing I had to learn is not to rape community sites for your advertisement.

Ofc you have the intention to spread your awesome stories all over the worl at first place
and to tell them so many people as possible to collect so many smiles as possible. smile
But people in these communities are in these communities because of a certain point.

If the community is a social community like Facebook, people are in Facebook because
of the social thing. These sites offer some mechanics that support the topic (e.g. forums).
*Use these mechanics in the way they were designed for. Use these sites in the way they were
designed for.

Your stories are for the people (and you), not the people for your stories.

Don't swap these things!

• Post, post, post
Don't stop posting. When you have a continuous output, the people'll notice you.
The more often you should, the more the people will notice your screaming.

But don't shout bullshit. Remember: Don't use the sites and mechanics for your purpose
in the first place, use them whenever u feel to say something it's important for you.

or

Be authentic. Your'e not a slaughtering commercial machine, you are a human.
Be human. Be transparent. As people love the protagonist in stories 'cause they
read/watch/listen a story about him/her – get to know this person – they love
you as a protagonsit in your personal life story. When you be honest, when u be
just a human – they got to know you better and start to love your work.

So post!, post everything and every minute – but post only things you really want to post.
And if you can't post every minute some deep shit about you (or silly shit u like), then don't
post every minute. It's ok. Be yourself in the first place and not the slave of your comic work.

So what a big speech.
What are my sites?

like Facebooknewest shit
follow Twitternice chats
love Instagramcool snippets
check Pinteresthot stuff
watch Deviantart1great art

... and ofc my webcomic Quest Runners1 (wip) here on Tapastic!

XOXO and THX 4 support!

16 days later

-Tapastic-- This is where I post my comic. I just started so not much there.
Tumblr1-- I post my fanarts here. Even the NSFW's
Twitter I'm mostly just lurking here.
Facebook- Most active here. This is where I get my daily dose of memes. Also I post my fanarts here.

ChloroFluoro: I don't use tumblr to publish but I use it as an art reference blog where I reblog tutorials and references that I find helpful. My tumblr is chlorofluoro-artist but I'm not sure if it's relevant to the topic haha.

I have both a tumblr for my webcomic and a tumblr for my art in general2! I consider the webcomic's tumblr to be more for people who already know about the comic -- if you're not already interested in a webcomic, there's not much reason to follow a blog that's exclusively about that comic! The tumblr is just a great way for readers to get alerted to updates, and for me and others to be able to reblog updates as a little bit of advertising. :>

I've found for me that Tumblr works better as an audience-building thing if you're not exclusively one thing. If you draw and post other kinds of stuff in addition to your webcomic, people will have more reason to be interested in your stuff without needing to already like your comic!
