Lots of really good responses so far on this thread! Interesting to see how many have found other venues to use when one platform fails. Still a pity that there isn't a go-to place that everyone knows of. As an artist and a student of art it seems to be an eternal struggle with art to deal with censorship. It really limits the creativity but luckily artists seem to always find a way to express themselves in some place or another.
Honestly I just think it's such a shame and a waste of good resources that the internet, which was supposed to be the free haven for all, ended up getting so heavily monitored and censored. And not even in a good way that ensures the safety of people but only to control what people produce.
This is pretty much what I've been doing recently. My friends at least get to see what I draw, even if I don't post my NSFW work online. They get to see exclusive art and I get feedback from them, so it's a win win really.
