Does anyone still use Croppy?
Croppy21 is an internet tool that helps crop your webtoon. If you upload your webtoon files it will even crop both at the same time. Which is super helpful!!

If you're like me and post on both Webtoon and Tapas you can't crop at the same dimensions.
Tapas allows 940x2000px and 60 images. Webtoon allows 800x1280px and 100 images.

I found out recently that the dimensions Croppy splits at are out of date. And so it makes an unnecessary amount of pages. It crops for Tapas at 940x1280 and it crops for Webtoon at 800x1000.

Basically, a file that would be 50 images may turn into 70 images if you use Croppy. So just be wary if you're one to make long episodes.

I would just use the export webtoon tool on Clip Studio (if you have it).

But if you use Paint Tool Sai or if you're impatient like me then use this link and you can still crop for both at the same time. It is basically Croppy but basic (uses the same code as Croppy and was provided to me by the Croppy developer). I don't think they'll be updating Croppy to match the new dimensions...

TIL Clip Studio has an export webtoon tool. I swear, that thing has a million functions I don't even know exist!

Makes sense, though. Nice tip!

What I love is that both Tapas and Webtoon crop for us nowadays, I just upload my entire massive file, Tapas will take any length of episode under 20 MB. I want to say the WT limit for their file upload is 10? I forget. Anyway, it's no longer necessary to use croppy, although I think I'll have to for if I ever start my comicfury account.

I wasn't too fond of the quality of Webtoon cropping but Tapas I think has good quality.

I have Clip Studio so I can crop in the software. I choose to use Croppy because I can do both at the same time but after I found out the dimensions were wasting pages I'm just gonna stick to using the Clip studio in-app cropping.

yeah the clip studio cropping works great! I wish we could crop files based on file size as well as length (because the MB limit is what usaully gets me, not the length) but it's way easier than croppy. Croppy was kind of a pre-clip export thing.
