Hi I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out here, I want to print some copies of my comic just for myself and a few friends, but I have no idea how to go about it. I've searched up a few printing services but they all do printing in bulk, which isn't really what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance if anyone can help me out

I know Mixam24 allows you to pick as many copies as you want with a lot of customization. There's also this site4 that allows you to converts your RGB files to CMYK. I haven't used mixam myself, but I plan to when I have the money free to print a test issue. Check them out and see if you like them!

I have been working with these guys for 5 years and have nothing but good things to say about their work. They are quick and produce high quality books for a low price

They also have printers in the United States and UK so you won't be waiting months for your books to ship to you from Asia and go through the ports (unless you're not located in US or Europe)

kablam comics lets you print cheap and no minimum bulk order. (unless its in a manga size which your min. order is 2)

Convert your files into cymk. this is because a computer and a printer uses different methods of creating color. A computer uses rbg or red, blue, green light to display color, a printer uses cyan, yellow, magenta. (K- stands for keytones, but that is another topic) When converting to cymk don't be off-put by the colors getting lighter. that is normal, and 9/10 you art will print just fine, because the printer will mostly likely print you art much darker. (always seems to be an issue at school. DX )

Next what ever printer you go though, make sure you you format your files in a way they as you to. If you don't, it's not the end of the world, but they may charge you extra money for it.

If you can get a test print from the printer it helps to see how their printers print your colors and you can adjust accordingly. Most print shops have their printers set slightly different because there is no standard for whatever reason. unless you print in pantones. (another topic for another day, just know professional companies will pay hundred or thousands of dollars for the perfect color every time and purchasing the use of a pantones. not that it would cost you for personal use, professional companies are more likely to use that)

I agree with @cjspiethillustr on Ka-Blam, but you dont have to convert to CMYK to do that- Ka-Blam does it for you...

With Ka-Blam you can get as little as ONE COPY or as many as you want. The only thing you need to do is get(download) a formatting template from the Ka-Blam site so that you can make sure you're converting/formatting you pages to their specs.

I've been printing my comics from them for about 5 yrs now...

KDP is also not great if you're printing a manga series. They refuse to print a book that reads from right-to-left, even if you format it for them
