Hey there! Thanks for the thread! I love the STRONG colors and lighting here and will definitely check out your webcomic!

Mine is a Webnovel with a lot of illustrations scattered through and stars very strong, but very villainous protagonist known as Ira Dante.

A Dark story, but one that I have been enjoying creating greatly!

Oh Dang!

I have 2! Penny and Artemis make up the Unstoppable Monkey Bunny. From being strong for each other, dealing with life (in general), or punching evil in the face, they are pretty awesome.

Reima is a soldier turned outlaw in a world full of conspiracy and ancient secrets.

slides in Hello! I have two main characters (a male and female). This is my girl Stellar! An astronomer known for manipulating gravitational lensing in the search for sentient worlds to terraform. The reason she's strong? Well, later on she begins to go against her planet's government. This is unfortunate for her because one of her loved ones is a military commander. But what she does isn't in vain.

Your comic looks like a lot of fun, I'm definitely subscribing!

Engram is a story about women and the legacies they leave to those that follow in their footsteps. My main character, Dot, is searching for her mother, who is a famous space explorer and captain, and who vanished without a trace. Now Dot is looking to solve the last cosmic mystery her mother was following, to try and bring her back.

Here's Patience from my novel Secunda4!

While she isn't an action hero or in any high-powered position, what I made sure to give her to make her strong is agency. Too often are female leads, particularly in romance, just taken along for the ride by the story's plot and external circumstances. So while external events present obstacles to her to make the story, Patience often finds ways to tackle them by herself. She comes up with ideas and plans, and she makes decisions.

Hello! Albeit she hasn't been introduced yet (I'm only two episodes in, I'm sorry >m< However!! I am doing my best to update every Wednesday) I have an inkling you might enjoy the Lady in White.

She's the third of my protagonists, and without a doubt the most mysterious of them all. Just who exactly is she? What is her connection to the Throne of the Gods? And why does she hate the Sorcerer so deeply? Her knowledge goes beyond the islands of Men, so could it be...?

Her alongside two other female characters are the thematic pillars of my story, driving the plot along with cunning and wits. Others might be victims of her fate, but she's determined to write it.

She's hands down my favorite character, it's such a shame I can't fanboy about her in lenght, nor tell you her name -- but rest assured, she'll be featuring soon!

Adi learns what she's made of really fast when her day goes from 'no thanks I'd rather not' to 'best day ever' to... well, an adventure she didn't ask for.

Gunhild stands up to her fears, and saves the world from frost giants. She's also a metalhead.

I'd say Bestia counts. She's literally STRONG haha

She's strong physically and usually takes charge, but she also is no stranger to vulnerability. I hope she's balanced lol.

I guess you can say that Alexina is a "strong female lead"

Hello! Here's Amèlia, my main character. She indeed has a strong character and while all humans don't dare looking at Lucifer in the eyes, she does because her pride is stronger than her fear! can't tell much more because I'd do spoilers

this is my comic Black Wings:

"Strong female lead" is a, well, strong term and one I think gets mangled a bit (thanks for that, Joss Whedon). I prefer "well-written female lead" so I'll stick with that for my recs. (None are my own but I'm subscribed to them.)

omg I love all the characters so far!!
here’s my webcomic! Rivers a detective and her friend, Constance is a police sketch artist!

So many great characters so far!!
My character's name is Ami and she's the main character in my comic.

I don't really know if i can promo my own comic since my main female lead doesn't really lead yet but ill post some other comics i read with some female leads ^^

Katrina Ratcliffe, eighth-grade student at Thomas Bowdler Junior High.

Per my website:

Certain people hate to see a young lady as smart as Katrina fall in with a bad crowd. The truth is she's in no danger of that happening, but that hasn't stopped them from trying to guide her to the straight and narrow path she is already on. She doesn't care for typical girly things like clothes and make-up and especially boys, which has made her new friendship with Terry suspicious to many.

My female lead, Harper, and her best friend Lily run a diner together and protect their local magical community. They're both powerful but their friendship makes them unstoppable.

Thanks for the opportunity! All my novels feature at least one strong female lead.

Genre: Drama, Mystery, Psychological Thriller
Unravel the secrets hidden in a small town through the eyes of a singer, a policeman, and a school counselor. Suspects in the subsequent murders range from cyber stalkers to old flames! :smiling_imp:

Genre: Historical Romance, Fantasy
Follow Empress Wu Zetian's treacherous journey from the hands of enemy Tufan soldiers back to the Forbidden City where she battles foes from within her own kingdom.

Genre: Scifi, Action, Thriller
A short story collection that involves science fiction, fast-paced action scenes, and dystopic universes.

My leading lady. One of the sentries protecting the sanctuary.

Of Bones and Blooms / drama. fantasy. romance. /

Features at least two:
Ophelia and Goldie.

Ophelia: shy gardener who just wants to drink tea, take mushrooms with the guy she 'totally doesn't have the hots for', and IDK wear pretty dresses, but instead is caught in a sociopolitical bullshitery --oh, and hides bodies for the mob.

Goldie: The Fairy MobMother. The woman has golden nails, and golden fangs, a giant diva coat, and the most powerful criminal organization in the city.

Sam is definitely a strong lead here, absolutely never one to let someone try to take advantage of her or walk over her. Some things might get her rattled but always finds a way to grow stronger with each survived challenge.

Is throwing an estate car strong enough for you?

'Cause Rekki Lune is a heroine who throws a car and punches house-sized demons in the face and stuff. :hype_01:

Fantasy/action with a dose of romance!

I'll drop mine here!

If you're interested in gothic horror and Bloodborne, The Lady and Her Hound might be up your alley? Lady is a strong but quiet. She's a monster hunter/demon slayer and journeys around the ravaged countryside with her faithful companion Hound!

claire is strong and adventurous, leona tries to be strong despite everything, nobody else has a concept of gender
s'what happens when you're stranded in a strange new world
plus you cant convince us that jumpsuits arent the height of fashion

I have a few main characters whom I balance out with, but this is Ahiko. Although she doesn't always demand the most attention, unlike their attention whore of a party member Rokuzo, Ahiko always pulls through. I imagine their resilience like that of an ox who always pulls through when no one else can.

Strong female lead, hmmm...

How about a frickin' swordmaster as portrayed by someone who actually studied swordsmanship and historical martial arts? I don't even do romance subplots!

Not to spoil anything, but she may or may not become a crime lord later on in the story as well.

21 days later

Hmm... defining "strong" is hard. My novel (and subsequent books) have 2 female MCs. Strong in that they take what they're given and keep going and use it to grow. They are also magically strong, but that's just fate.

I made Nachos Con Carne as mostly a unisex story, but but we've already met Katrina, a no-nonsense loner character who doesn't see the appeal of fitting into anyone's mold.

Keep reading - there's more where she came from.

I created Words. out of frustrations from the lack of proper female representation in media, so...take your pick.

Read the description before reading the story.
This is a dark (and I mean it) story about a foolish woman who suffered the unimaginable. But she continued and will find the peace and happiness she wishes for. Though as I wrote in the description, it'll be the hardest thing she had ever done.

Idk if she counts but I hope she does XD
