Chasing Grief takes place in different places, but my favorite is the Sea of Sirens where she lost track of time and forgot her purpose for going there because of the sirens :))

The Shapes is set in the fictional Shap City, Shap Island which is located somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean. I'm still indecisive of whether it should be its own place or a stand-in for the US.

Not A Hero
It is a story about the main character's revenge against an 'organization' that took away his family. But the world he lives in isn't normal, so this won't be an ordinary revenge. On the way to achieving his goal, he will have to confront the hero, the mage. Yeah, he lives in a world where superpowers and magic exist. Unfortunately, he doesn't have superpowers or magic, so he'll have a lot of trouble
I wouldn't say this is a dark story, I think my work will convey a message of light and positivity.

Though not explicitly stated, my book takes place in Edmonton, Canada. As the story draws directly from my own experiences, I make a lot of references to Edmonton. However, I avoided actually naming the city in the hopes that readers could project their own experiences onto the story.

My stories takes place in a fictional city named Dawn, it’s set on an alternate version of Earth with all fictional places. The city of Dawn was at the center of an apocalyptic event, 500 years prior to the story, where most of the world was destroyed, except for one small part of Dawn. It’s a vibrant city full of neon lights, mysteries, and a large underground network of tunnels and crypts.

My story takes place in roughly England during the VIctorian era, but with a few creative liberties, mostly since it's veers towards the fantasy genre than historical, but there are a lot of elements from the Victorian era that I researched about to make the story more immersive. My comic Karamador takes place in the kingdom of Pohjoland, which is based on Nordic countries (Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland) in medieval- and reneissance times. The current ongoing story arc "Tourney in Aborku" is set in the city of Aborku in East-Pohjoland, which is based on Turku city in Finland.

The Castle of Aborku is likewise based on the medieval castle of Turku in it's 1500's form (these photos are taken by me).

Peravia is hot and dry for much of the year except in the highest mountains along the borders, where snow is frequent. On the north and west of the region is almost completely ringed by mountain ranges, the rest being girt by water. Towards the center is mainly vast desert and is inhabited by goblin tribes.

Ballastan being its capital is known to be the largest trading city of immense wealth, magnificent architecture and prestigious ships, and thanks to the pristine natural harbor created by the Golden Antlers, Ballastan grew into a thriving port city. Slavery being its main source of income, Ballastan also makes its wealth from wine, salt, fish, meat, vegetables and other alimentary products. Ceramics, linen, and woven cloth as well for spices being items of trade.

Ballastan is also famously known for its Colosseum that hold a range of events, including racing giant Engorian beetles.

The Veggera Foundation: It's a quirky and weird office for an art agency. It has statues of elephants, and a walls with hidden doors covered in paintings, because the founder wanted the world to be whimsical and reflected that in the business he created.

Puff Mommy: It is a Korean-owned beauty supply store rivaling my MC Eliza's business "Lion Proof."

Antioch and Harahel arrived in the town of Stormhold, their horses trotting through the cobbled streets lined with quaint houses. The atmosphere here felt different from the bustling city they had left behind. Stormhold had an air of serenity and history, as if time had moved more slowly within its walls.
As Antioch and Harahel ventured deeper into the town of Stormhold, they found themselves in the heart of the town square, where a magnificent display of statues awaited them. These statues were no ordinary works of art; they were a tribute to The Seven Saints of Stormhold, the legendary heroes who had once safeguarded the realm. Each statue was a masterful representation of its respective Saint, capturing the essence of their character and valor.
