This is a great idea for a thread!

Two comics that I dig right now are Mr Simple and Gateway City. The former is just incredibly funny and straightforward, and the latter - though I haven't read it all the way through - has some amazing artwork and really nice composition. It's really under subscribed (though I've noticed story based comics struggle on here).

Speaking of struggling story based comics. Here is my own:

This is such a nice idea. My comic is called Arcus Ink. It's about two little girls looking for their kidnapped parents in the middle of a war. It's science fiction/fantasy.

One comic I really enjoy is Peripety by Mushikikizou-chan. It's a fantasy/horror story about werewolves. There's a kickstarter going on right now for it and it's already reached it's goal even though there are still over 20 days left to pledge. It's very good quality.

The last series I want to talk about is The Watchman by Catlucky. It's also science fiction but with romance too. It's a really intriguing story.

I wish I could promote more comics but I guess that's all for now.

Well, I've got mine New Courage which updates twice a week. It's an action series inspired by 80s and 90s action movies and games. Also inspired by my parents lives.

As for two other series. I've got my buddy @allenthomas and his comic Shadosassins

and my other buddy @jrej Shades of Men

Here's my comic which updates mondays and fridays:

And other series you should read:

I love this thread, such a great idea!!

First, here's my comic Stop Watchers.
An action, adventure, comedy comic about a trio of time travelers whose job is to stop time criminals from changing the past.

First recommendation: Time Travelling Sherlock and Hipster Watson
Whenever I see a new page added I am quick to click on it. I love the humor of the comic and the artwork is really great!!

Second recommendation: Teach Me To Kill
The artwork in this comic is beautiful! A very dark story but the mystery is really starting to pick up, always look forward to new pages.

I'm here for the underdogs!

Check out: https://tapas.io/series/TOMATO-NO-BASKET
This author is a closeted genius (maybe). His art is simple, but his humor is nice and fresh. It's one of the first comics that I've read on this site, and it's worth a look!

Then there's this: https://tapas.io/series/GONE-SAGA
It's a totally hand-drawn Manga-style webcomic with some really nice art. It's fairly new, but what the author has done so far has gotten me hooked!

And finally, check out my comic: https://tapas.io/series/The-Chaos-Stone
It's about a boy named Jaysen and his adventures in a world where everyone has the potential to use Elemental-based abilities. The first two chapters I have up are kind-of depressing, but the theme will eventually shift to a kind of high-fantasy epic adventure where the hero fights monsters and bad guys, and such.

Thanks!

Here's mine  It's a gaslamp fantasy about a Magician who kidnaps a stablehand with the ability to command Magicians against their will in an plot to overthrow a kingdom.

And some of my favorite comics here that need more eyeballs on them:

Hi,One of mine-

and 2 I'm reading:

Seems fair to me. I actually have two comics on going at the time
One is more gag based with little comedy comics.

While the other has a overarching story involving videogame consoles gijinkas.

And for the other two here's one that is also starting but looks very promising (The title is in spanish but the comic itself is in english)

And this one, these are four koma comics with simple but effective jokes.

16 days later

alright:
Here`s mine:

And my recommendations:
I love the humor and characters. It`s good if you want a good laugh, but it also has an interesting plot going on.

I like the weird and unusual style of this comic. it is a comedy too.
You send questions and they will answer(jokingly). soon they will answer the first question,
but the intro already tells you the kind of bizarre humor you can expect.

Yeah, i like comedies.

Azura's Heart has an amazing art style and interesting plot!!! The artist also has a lot of amazing art that you guys should check out

Star Gazer has an interesting plot and a nice art style that really suits the story

My comic is this near future fantasy called TOMAHAWK:

And here's a couple favorites:

All great stuff. Check them out! d(^^)

Oh I am so getting in on this. Great topic idea, as said by many others!

Now, I'm not going to be able to stick to just two. I'll recommend three comics and you will deal.

Let's start with Out of the Blue, shall we? The first thing that struck me about it was just how much warmth it exudes. The art is beautiful, with vivid colours and appealing character designs, but above all that it establishes a mood. You can just feel the warmth of the summer breeze and the deep blue of the water coming at you from every page. The story follows suit, focused at the moment on two protagonists: one who needs to learn how to trust and another that yearns to be trusted. It's in its early stages but worth every second of your time.

I discovered Heartstopper literally yesterday, and it charmed the pants off me. Another sweet, warm story that's bound to take you back to the thoughts and feelings of adolescence. The uncertainty and unease, the wide-eyed self discovery and the endless joy of simple moments - it's all here, woven into a story about two immensely likeable teenagers trying to figure out the bond they share. Add to it, the art is wonderfully expressive. This one and the previous series are perfect for rainy autumn afternoons spent snuggled under a blanket.

Lastly, a shout out to Sarota Springs. The art is top-notch, and the story promises to slowly intertwine its colourful cast of characters into a spooky mystery that's probably going to freak me out when its untangled. Come for the pretty pictures and bits of humor, stay for the developing tale that will satisfy every step of the way while it puts itself together!

Finally, here are my two series. If you'd like, take a peak!
