Promote your novel/comic with what you're most proud of accomplishing this year!

Personally, I'd been thinking about writing on Tapas for several years now, and finally took the leap during nanowrimo to join the TLOT contest. Since then, I've gotten all 30 chapter (and then some) done, and reached my goal of 50 followers (and then some). So happy of the community I've met here, and it's re-sparked my love of writing which had been slowly dying off as I waded through the submission trenches in trad.

Here's to a productive 2024!

My proudest achievement is actually not this novel, though I'm very proud of being able to make the thirty chapters necessary for the #trueloveontapas competition quota, considering the fact that I didn't find out about the competition until the end of November. But my actual proudest accomplishment is winning the H.G. Wells short story competition Junior Category! I'm so proud of that accomplishment and I hope it's a good sign for the future. But either way, here's the link to my novel, which I am ALSO extremely proud of.

Honestly I'm just proud that I finished work on my series that I genuinely enjoyed doing, majority of my accomplishments have been academic related which were always completed out of obligation rather than my own desire to, a very empty feeling of accomplishment tbh So I'm glad I put myself out there with my TLOT submission, writing is something I've always done in my spare time but to put as much effort as I have with this story, I feel happy going forward into the new year!

I'm proud to be more proactive in the webcomic community.
I'm proud to have entered three contests.
I'm proud to have reached five milestones in a short period of time with my comic since it aired in August.
I'm proud to have grown as a person.
And I'm proud of finally finding a fitness program that works! I think this time, I'll reach my goal and stay on it.

I'm proud that I've stuck with THD for as long as I have, usually I work on something but never reach the end. Also, that this is my most ambitious project putting word count into consideration. I still have so much to write, so I can imagine it reaching 200k word count, atp. I'm not close to the end, but I have a lot of it planned out!

I'm proud of what I've found on this site, finding new stories to read and a welcoming community. Publishing here, too. And mostly on a consistent schedule! (With a few bumps in the road, life gets in the way sometimes) but I'm proud for not dropping it. I'm excited to see what developments happen and how I write the rest of THD coming into the new year. My tormented characters will see everything to the end, I hope.

That's awesome!! Good luck!! The first novel is the hardest to complete. Eventually you get over that hump and it feels so amazing! All the best luck continuing it this year!!

I'm most proud of actually posting Apparent Secrets on Tapas. I'd had the story notes skulking around since 2014 and hadn't done anything with them until I saw an advert for #TrueLoveOnTapas and thought "why not?" If I didn't start soon, it was likely another decade would go by before I touched it, so that's what I'm most pleased with.

I’m proud of just publishing it in general & starting my journey for something I want to do for a while if I’m able to [drawing comics of course ]. It just felt impactful in a way that all of the work I did was able to amount to something .

Summary: Former, infamous criminal Kira Taylors life turns upside down when a forced agreement with the police puts her up to the task of solving a huge phenomenon that's slowly corrupting people on an island. Now, it’s a race against time as she tries to find her way out, and a way to the ‘man that made her lose everything.’

I'm proud of finishing Finding Daecon's Way Book One without missing a single update or self-imposed deadline (which was remarkable, considering that I work as a mechanic 45 hours a week, had a two hour daily commute, was building an addition onto my house with only my own hands, and was dealing with two parents who are very ill, her with dementia and congestive heart failure and him with COPD). Given the trials and tribulations I went through this summer I'm surprised that I made it through, much less with actually getting stuff done.

I'm also proud of the fact that I came up with enough extra material for a Book Two. The full outline is completed and the writing is well under way, though it did fall behind due to a three-week bout with Covid (I couldn't think straight enough to write).

Although Wild Nights, Hot and Crazy Days finished in December 2022 I'm proud of the positive feedback I've gotten for it, and hopefully it'll be in print in 2024.
